Grand Nail Spa

Tu was amazing! He did an excellent job and took his time. Helped me choose a color (bc I can never)! lol. Best pedi/massage I’ve ever had at a salon. Will def be my home salon from now on. And the ambiance is relaxing and clean.

Absolutely great. I walked in without an appointment towards the end of the day (I needed a fill and a fix in a pinch). I filed them short (badly) myself, and didn’t give them a great canvas to work on. Tu did my nails - he was great! I’m super picky, and he asked a lot of great questions along the way to make sure I was happy. He was patient when I took too long to find my reference photo, and then was honest about not being able to do the particular style I wanted. This is HUGE because most places just say they CAN but then do a bad job. He said honesty is so important and I couldn’t agree more. We found a different style, and he was really intentional with finding the exact shade of nail polish I was looking for. He added gel instead of the sub par acrylic I had as a base, and took time to fix the cracks and the tips of the nails I had left from my last nail appt. He completely fixed all the issues in the underlying layer. I added a few pictures! There’s a little bit of polish and stuff on my skin, and he tried to clean it off, but because they were closing so soon I told him not to worry about it, so ignore the specks of glitter on my skin - he noticed and tried to fix it and I said no lol. He made them look nice which I didn’t think was possible given the state they were in. Thank you Tu!!!

Today was my second trip to Grand Nail Spa. I am a gardener who brought her dirty ragged nails to Grand Nail Spa to be transformed for my son’s wedding (toes, too!). Sarah Truong was my nail artist. She was kind, gracious and efficient…(the hand and foot massage were especially welcome as we had just put my dad on hospice). This salon is amazingly hygienic and the staff treat you as part of their family (I left with a gorgeous Vietnamese calabash (squash) with instructions how to cook it!). I just can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s easy to get an appointment, everyone is kind and courteous. Wow. Beautiful nails and gardeners don’t exactly work together, but for every trip and special occasion, I’ll be coming here!

First time getting a full set at this salon. Sat at table 1, he was so nice and welcoming!! Did a great job on my nails, we had great conversation like we were old friends, made sure I was happy and satisfied with the way my nails looked and fixed everything I asked to be fixed with no issues at all. Really great experience and prices were also reasonable!

I asked for dip white nails, this is what I ended up with. The excuse was the nail colors on the samples sit out for too long and “fade”. I was expecting to get what I saw on the sample, but i guess not. Normally dip has a different aura after it’s put on, but this was just completely wrong. After I saw the color he brought out I was skeptical, but he told me it was white and even reassured me. When seeing the final result he did I wasn’t even horribly upset with the color, but the nails are see through too, witch is my biggest upset. After the fact I asked for compensation and they said they couldn’t do that. Overall just a bad experience, doesn’t even deserve one star to be honest.
