MAX TL NAILS

I absolutely love Max Nails TL! The location at Mercato Grove is so convenient, the staff is so knowledgeable and my nails come out beautiful every single time. Plus, they always seem to be able to get me in the same day! Definitely recommend

So, my oldest daughter and I were having a girls day and we wanted to get our nails done. We were super hungry so unfortunately it was a little past five on a Sunday afternoon-evening. Apple Maps had the hours wrong in two places and my daughter was in tears from disappointment, and I was close too, sad end to the day and all. So we went down the list of nail spas nearby, and found this place. No longer trusting the maps app, I *called* and asked the lady who answered if we could squeeze in at 28 mins before they were to close… …and to my pleasant shock surprise she said “Yeah we can fit you in,” so we rushed over, to find the place busy at nearly 6 on a Sunday - a pretty good sign. The technician, Hannah, was very kind and accommodating, getting my daughter set up with a pedicure and a massage chair. Then I looked at colors and asked for something close to what I’d had last I’d had my nails done (at another place), a dark sparkly blue. I mentioned casually that I am a sucker for anything sparkly or shimmery, so she brings up this blue which sparkled like diamond - her words - and she was not exaggerating! She then apologized that it wasn’t as dark as my previous…such attention to detail and my preference! I said it was so sparkly I had to have it and we laughed. She did the whole standard gel-nail routine, cuticle clipping, cuticle oil, etc…but she made pleasant conversation with me all the while, not in the sort of automatic way some customer service folks do, but actually made me feel like she cared about what I said. We talked about our kids becoming independent as they were growing through their teen years, about beauty products, about how she became a nail technician and how one gets licensed in the profession… it was just really nice, and I felt really welcome and truly appreciated as a customer. She stayed late like 30 mins to finish (because we were having fun chatting 😬). Then after all that, she rang me up for a gel manicure and a pedicure for my daughter, and the whole thing was only $83!! And they don’t make you bring a nail kit or sell an overpriced one which is added to the cost of the service, they give you a clean, brand-new one at no extra cost *every time* you come. In addition to being nice to talk to whilst the work got done, she did a very fastidious and detailed job (see the picture). Well, you can bet I gave her a nice tip (25%, the highest option) and promised I’d bring my other daughter and my partner and my bestie by. And that I’d write her a nice review, because she - her name was Hannah - absolutely deserved it for above and beyond customer service! late on a Sunday when everyone really wants to go home. It was far and away the best nail spa experience I’ve ever had. Oh yeah, and they had like three times bigger color selection, especially multidimensional sparkly colors which I love. I recommend this place to anyone who likes sparkly gel nails, friendly, accommodating service, and employees who actually engage you in *real* pleasant conversation. Good job Hannah and Max TL Nails. I’m coming back here next time for sure.

This salon is stunning! It feels lux, completely clean and true professional artists. I’ve tried a lot of nail salons and will not be going anywhere else. My pedicure was thorough and relaxing. The chairs are sooo comfortable! I got a dip manicure for the first time and it’s flawless. They added tips for a couple of my nails that were not strong enough and/or were not the same length as my other nails. They gave me one of the most beautiful and natural looking manicures I’ve ever received. The cost of my services were completely reasonable and consistent with the upscale treatment and experience.

Very clean, relaxing establishment. Despite going in before closing, they still took their time, provided excellent customer service and were very kind nice people. My nails haven't chipped or shown any signs of wearing off, which is amazing because we went on October 4th, and today is the 31st. Will be back soon!

Wonderful and relaxing gel manicure and regular pedicure with Eliott. Short nails benefit from meticulous attention to detail, too! I appreciate the vibe of the salon—friendly, calming, and clean. I have found my new favorite salon in Lake Oswego.
