Mission Nails

I drive past this salon daily and finally made it in and I was impressed! The salon was fun and cozy! Kobra was hands down one of the best I have encountered in a very very long time! So friendly and engaged in conversation went above and beyond to help me decide on color and really took her time getting my nails perfect! I felt like I was chatting with a friend and have definitely found my new spot and gal! I was blown away with the technique on the cat eye design I decided on and even better was the prices were fair and better than others I have been to nearby. I had a great experience from the moment I walked in until I left so much so I had to let others who may be questioning giving them a try to DO IT!!!!!!!!!

My daughter and I both had our cuticles severely damaged and cut to the point of bleeding—then they pour acetone all over our fingers as a way of “cleaning” the skin. The following days the cuticle bed became inflamed, infected, and started peeling layers of skin. Furthermore, the nail tech clipped a chunk of flesh from my daughter’s finger & nail bed, he failed to communicate this like a responsible human, as she was a minor. Also he did not get new tools to continue her manicure after the blood covered his tools. Her simple French mani took almost 2 hours and the tech even had another employee step in to try and correct his error. Neither one of them addressed the issue of using dirty tools or the mistreatment of my child’s skin. These wounds allowed for chemicals and polish to directly enter her blood stream and cause a very severe chemical reaction. The gel polish did not hold up well, it started peeling within 3-4 days. This was not our first time here, but sadly it will be our last. I suggest having one of the girls that do acrylic set do your nails. They appear to be the only skilled techs there. I did get an unplanned pedicure due to the vast amount of time it was taking to do my daughter’s nails, and there were no complaints about that service. She was wonderful!

I have found my salon and my nail girl. Kobra is amazing I literally love my nails from now on I’m going to Kobra.

I called to see if I could get an appointment today with someone I had previously gone to at this nail salon and they said I could come at 4:30. When I got there she was not there and someone else was going to do my nails. I have gotten gel x for the past two years and have learned that if there are any bubbles in the gel application they do not last well so I point out that 5 of my nails had large bubbles in the application. She did soak them off and put new ones on but didn’t seem happy about it and one of them still has a lot of bubbles in the application. On several of my fingers the gel was adhered to my skin and on right thumb it caused a cut. I pointed this out a few times and told her it hurt but she didn’t really say or do anything about it. I was there for 2 and half hour paid $93 and left in pain
