V NAILS and SPA

I was passing through the area and wanted a fresh coat of paint. Lisa got me in right away and was so very kind. They all welcomed me to the area and had me done within 40 minutes. I will definitely be back.

This was my first time ever getting my nails professionally done, and let me tell you, I was SO NERVOUS! My friend recommended this place so I figured I’d give it a shot. Tony was my nail tech, and he did a wonderful job! By the end of the appointment I was much less tense and we were able to have good conversation while he did my nails. Such a funny guy! I can’t wait to come back and get them filled in a few weeks. The establishment was clean and the staff were very friendly. 5 stars for sure!

This was sadly the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. I am officiating a friend’s wedding, and I normally get my nails done at Lotus in Rochester, MN (who I would HIGHLY recommend). But, due to the snow and driving distance, I decided to try one that was closer. Huge mistake. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an extremely rude and sarcastic man, who kept making fun of me every time I tried to explain what I was going for. I ended up sitting at this person’s table. He had me soak my nails to remove my old polish for about 15 minutes while I literally saw him vaping right outside the store. The pungent odor when he returned was so strong it stuck to my clothes and I could still smell it after I left the salon. During the appointment, his sarcasm only got worse and worse. He even made some off putting jokes about how teachers don’t make any money. During the appointment, he was extremely rough and messy. The tools did NOT look clean or sanitized. When my nails started bleeding he just said “oops” and kept filing just as hard. My blood got on the file and he didn’t throw it away or get out a new one. It makes me extremely scared to think what was on the that filer BEFORE I walked in. 😷🤢 After I left (the appointment took an hour and twenty minutes - I got a French dip manicure), I noticed the dip powder did not set properly, and it left tiny bubble-like lines all over my nails. $80. I cried. I am never going here again.

Timeliness: great. I called ahead and didn’t have to wait long once I arrived Service: good. The nail techs were polite and friendly, but I did get cut and bled a little near my cuticle since they were rushed. I appreciated them letting me change my color though. Cleanliness: great. My nail tech Jenny wore gloves which I really appreciated Price: great. I got dip nails. French with a color tip and my total was $69ish. Quality: great. My nails came out pretty much blemish free
