2025-01-17Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at Nikki Nails. I went in for a manicure and ended up with the gentleman who works there. I initially felt he came off as rude, but I brushed it off and trusted him to do the service. While doing the soak off, he kept looking up at the football game on the TV and didn’t appear to be paying full attention. Then, while he was trimming my nails, he clipped the tip of my finger with the nail clippers HARD. It wasn’t just a nip, it was literally a chunk of skin. It hurt really bad and wouldn’t stop bleeding. I couldn’t stop crying so I asked if I could just leave with the incomplete manicure. At this point, the other nail tech took over. She explained my nails were too weak from the removal so I at least needed a layer of polish to protect them. So I sat still crying and let her apply the polish. I ended up with gray nails (a color I didn’t even want) and a bloody finger. They didn’t charge me for the visit and offered to redo my nails for free after it healed, but I don’t want to go back for obvious reasons. I understand accidents happen, but this was completely unacceptable.
