Modern Nails

Liyah was amazing. We went to a different salon after driving for 2 hours & they had closed early for the night. I called them and they were happy to take us 40 mins before closing. She didn’t rush or anything, they did a thorough job. 10/10! Update on 11/28. Came here for the second time & per the first time I have nothing but good things to say. I asked for Liyah again & she did amazing! I asked for forest green abstract French tip with gold accent traced over and she made it come to life. Will be coming back.

This has been my regular place for a few months, and they kill it every time! Highly recommend, lovely staff with welcoming and fun environment. 🩷

I came in last week, because my daughter wanted her nails done. I did not want my nails done, but they sat me down and told me they were doing my nails too. I didn’t want to argue, because I had already told them multiple times I didn’t want them done, that we were just there for my daughter, but after telling them no three times, I caved. I guess I was getting my nails done. I was happy with how my nails turned out, but right away, my daughter‘s acrylic nails had soft spots and were very bulky, and I had multiple nails chip. We did not have time to go back in during the week, but we went back today, exactly 7 days later, to get our nails removed. They said they would fix my daughter’s nails, instead of taking them off completely, and I just wanted mine removed, because they were chipped on multiple nails. They told my daughter they would fix them.I thought they were going to fix my daughter’s nails for free because they had not done a great job initially, but at the end of the appointment they brought a calculator over and said it was going to be another $67 (I spent over $110 the week before). I understand people do not work for free, but my daughter’s nails were not done correctly the first time. They told me it was gonna be $15 to repaint my nails, but I said I just wanted them removed. Then they told me it was gonna be $10 to repaint my nails, and I told them I think I want to leave my nails natural. In the end, they charge me $10, even though I didn’t paint my fingernails. I am not somebody who enjoys getting my nails done, but it kind of seemed like they use their lack of communication to their advantage.

So great! The nails were a little short for me but I loved them they looked so expensive. I got my eyebrows waxed and threaded and I was very nervous because I’ve never gotten my eyebrows done before. They turned out wonderful!!! I would say to people to just get wax and not thread because the wax hurts less… I will totally be back!

Went it to get our eyebrows done. A full twelve hours later and we both are still red and in pain from the service. Called up there and was told that we could come in to get medicine. Asked what type of medicine. Was told that they could put aloe Vera on them. Seemingly no concern for our wellbeing or even an offer of a refund. Used to come to this placed all the time to get serviced but will not return. Save yourself and do not get wax services here!
