The Nail Stop

First, my nails and toenails look wonderful. It was my first time in the shop. I went for a scheduled pedicure but found the atmosphere so friendly and comfortable I requested a gel extension set as well. They were willing to make that happen. It was nice to be in a salon where they don’t pressure you, question my style choice, or how short I wanted my nails. They were so nice and talked with their clients like we were friends. I have crooked, arthritic fingers; V and Brian were very understanding of that. 100% going back!

I have been a consistent customer at The Nail Stop for approximately six months since moving to the area and, until now, have had no issues with services. This makes it disappointing to leave a review under these circumstances. During a recent eyebrow service completed by the female owner, Vee, I communicated that I wanted my eyebrows thinner. She proceeded using a device, and within 24 hours I developed welts underneath and around my eyebrows, followed by minor pain and visible bruising. I will be attaching photos for reference. I initially attempted to address this concern by phone, but Vee advised she could not hear me. I then visited the salon in person to show the bruising and seek a resolution. I spoke with her boyfriend, who is also an owner, and he called for her to come speak with me. As they spoke in their native language, Vee avoided all contact with me and did not acknowledge my presence, nor did she inquire as to why I was there or address the visible bruising at all. I take confrontation seriously and approach it with the intent to resolve issues respectfully. Because of this encounter, I strongly disagree with the attitude displayed by Vee and the owners’ inability to acknowledge or address the injury left behind. For this reason, I will no longer be a customer at this establishment. The quality of work itself has generally been good; however, future customers should be aware that if concerns arise, there may be issues with accountability and customer service, which does not appear to be a priority.

I love the nail stop. I’ve been going every two weeks for a few months now and they do an excellent job every time. They’re super nice and always greet me by name. My nail shape always looks good and they’re always checking if I’m happy as they work on my nails. Love them and they’re my new favorite spot. They’re really clean. They also always offer something to drink upon arrival. I don’t generally have pics of my nails but I did have one to add from a time when they did a fun design. I work across the street and a lot of my colleagues visit them and love them as well! I definitely recommend!

My husband and I have been coming to The Nail Stop for two years now, and it’s always such a great experience. I even make him get pedicures with me (lol)! We absolutely love the owners—they provide the best service and hospitality. The attention to detail is truly unmatched, and we literally drive out of our way just to spend time with our two favorite nail techs. Highly recommend!

The owners greeted me as well as other clients when entering the salon. The atmosphere of the salon is friendly and easy going, yet professional. The nail techs and owners were attentive, providing the services requested.
