VERA NAILS ( OPEN SUNDAY )

I really wanted to like this place — the staff seemed nice at first, but my experience was so disappointing. I got my nails done on Friday, and by Sunday evening most of the polish had already started chipping off (FYI- i don’t bite or chip my nails on purpose especially after paying 75$ for it). I understand sometimes it can be a product or technique issue, so I went back politely to let them know and show what happened. At first, they were understanding and asked me to wait while they figured out what to do. I calmly explained the situation and said I’d prefer a refund (they could even keep the tip - and they did!) — I wasn’t trying to cause a scene at all. Then the owner (the “mother”) came over, handed me the cash very RUDELY, and told me to GET OUT. I was honestly shocked — I stayed calm the entire time. To make things worse, when I asked them to remove the nails since they were already coming off, they tried to charge me $20 for removal. As someone who gets their nails done regularly, I understand salons usually charge for removals, but in this case, it was clearly a service issue — I shouldn’t have had to pay again for something that lasted barely two days. The whole situation could’ve been handled with kindness and professionalism, but instead I left feeling disrespected and unheard. I’ll be adding pictures of how quickly the nails chipped and the inspo vs. what I received — so you can decide for yourself.

I have had nothing but POSITIVE experiences with Vera Nails. The whole staff is friendly, professional and go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure their clients are 100% satisfied with their services received. The salon is clean and inviting and it is well worth the 50 minute drive from my hometown to have my nail services at Vera Nails. I highly recommend ANY of the nail technicians, as I have worked with all of them, and everyone has done an EXCELLENT job on my nails each time I have been in there. Pricing is fair and comparable with other salons, if not better!

My mom, sisters, and I have been going to a different salon for over 15 years. Sadly, the customer service and results there have declined while the prices increased. I looked for another nail salon and tried Vera Nails. Normally, I'm super basic with my nail color and don't do a design. However, I saw the incredible work that they do at Vera and tried something outside of my comfort zone with a dip powder AND color/design. They absolutely knocked it out of the park and I could NOT be more pleased! Both times they went above and beyond to make sure I got what I asked for and were more focused on getting the result than I was lol. Yvon is a 10/10 and I will not be going anywhere else from now on. Photos of the day of and how they last and my nails are growing so much! And Yvon, I promise that my next appointment will only consist of one color lol.

Extremely upset at the service. Honestly shouldn’t have paid for it at all but felt nice enough to pay half of the service of what I had requested. Wanted to finally get a chance to relax and get a pedicure while on tour and immediately sensed that the guy doing my feet had an aggressive and rushed demeanor. It was the older man working there. He never asked me if I wanted to trim my nails, just started doing it and cut them uneven. Didn’t clean out my nails the way any specialist normally does. And I requested a $60 hot stone service! Not a basic one! He rushed through my service as if he had many people waiting, which was not the case. When I called it to his attention he said that the nail cleaning and cutting of cuticle would come after. Which is never really the case. But once “finished”, it was a horrible job. Nails were trimmed unevenly not even filed properly. And though the younger gentleman seemed to want to fix it. He seemed to also not know how to fix it so I just told them I would do it myself at my hotel. And of course the moment I even ran the file through, I confirmed he never cleaned my nails. Extremely upset and disappointed!

I love my nails! I showed a couple pictures to Yvonne and she put together what I liked from each picture. Second picture shows how well my nails stayed in tact (it was a while). Third picture shows my new nails Yvonne did. Gabby did my pedicure and did a great job! She was very careful and took her time. I’d recommend both girls!
