2025-06-23Went in to get an acrylic set done, no paint and had a gift card I was given a couple years ago. I called ahead of time to make sure they were indeed “queen nails bar & spa” the man on the phone said yes and that I could walk in. When I got there it was a different name and the man at the front said they had bought out the old nail salon. I checked the gift card online to see if it had been transferred to the new company and it said that it was registered with Royalty nail lounge. That means they bought the whole portfolio of the old business including outstanding gift cards. The only reason I drove 45 minutes on a Sunday was to use this gift card that I’ve had for so long and they refused it. They didn’t even try it. My nail tech was nice and personable, but he did almost zero prep-work on my nails before applying the acrylic. There was no cleaning under my nails or cutting my cuticles or even pushing them back. My fingers hurt all day after getting them done from the acrylic being attached to my skin and left under my nails. No shaping was done and the acrylic was not buffed well enough. Also, their work stations were not very sanitary at all. Overall just not a good experience.

2025-07-21I got my nails done by Kayla for the first time today and got chrome. I couldn’t be happier with my nails or my service. She was lovely with lots of skill. Best experience I could’ve asked for. Edit: I just got home and somehow I love them even more. I feel so confident and I’ve already gotten 3 compliments 💅
