Vinci Nails

I rarely write Google reviews (especially negative ones) but this experience was so disappointing I had to share. I booked an appointment for a gel manicure/pedicure and wanted to try out the new local salon. The woman doing my pedicure was absolutely amazing and did a wonderful job - very attentive and kind! However, during my pedicure Peter began to work on my gel manicure. He stated that he’s been doing manicures for years which made me feel super comfortable as a new client & I spent the entirety of my manicure watching TV and not checking his progress. After he said he was finished I looked at my nails and was extremely disappointed in the quality of work. The pictures show everything so I’ll spare writing about it. Now I’ll take full accountability for not voicing my frustration in the moment (I’m not the biggest fan of confrontation) but I stopped Peter before he could work on painting my toes and got out of there ASAP. The worst part?? I was charged $110 for this. (Can I have my money back) It’s unfortunate that I have to write this review because each staff member was so kind and hospitable throughout, but the quality of work is extremely lacking. It’s also important to note I was the only client in the salon at the time, so it’s not like anyone was in any rush to complete the services. I had high hopes for this salon, but unfortunately I will not be returning.

Worst gelX nail of my life this new guy there didn’t know how to do nails and it was worst there I had a glue buildup to my skin and Peter fixed one nail underneath but my question is if someone is new first you should tell the client that he is new not after he have made my cuticles bleed and hurt my nails so much. Talking and all was great but horrible nails job I also did paraffin on my hands so you know, I care about my hands and how the nails look at that actually bothers me. This took me a day or two to post finally about my experience with them first and last time the guy also gave me a five dollars off coupon and I was like no thanks so this reviewed is a very part proof and I don’t want anybody else to get that experience. no guy knows how to do nails over there it’s all talking. 😭 up my hundred dollars, just went down the drain it’s more off that I have bad nails and I need to go get it fixed and waste more of my time and I don’t even know if I can be fixed because it’s so painful like my cuticles are bleeding. They are in pain. They are so brutally Cut off by machine like he literally went through the machine on my nails.

DO NOT GO HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Worst salon I have been to. I got no chip manicure and it chipped and was wavy like 2 hours after, I live in the city and I went all the way back to fix this and they agreed to do it. I asked them for a refund because my nails chipped in like less than 24 hours but they ended the call on my face and kept declining my calls. This is the worst experience ever. Everyone was nice during the service but if you are not doing your job correctly then what am I supposed to do. I spent my time and money to give another chance and the same thing again? And they won’t even refund? I should travel all the way 1 hour for their mistake? WORST!!!! I CANT KEEP COMING BACK 10 times because you keep making mistakes. That’s on you not me.

Was impressed by the care and quality the staff took while taking care of us. I for the milk and honey pedicure and was surprised that they use actual milk and honey for the service, it made my skin feel amazing. Overall great experience!

I came to this salon from being 25 mins away because reviews were so high and positive only to feel disappointed/upset. The only positive thing about my experience that I have to say is that I appreciated David greeting me so nicely with a warm smile and being so communicative and friendly during my pedicure. He asked me if everything was ok and making small talk about how he moved all the way from Texas. For some reason David started my pedicure and mid pedicure once it was time for my toe nails to get painted another gentlemen named Peter took over and was super rude/ disrespectful. David should have communicated that in the beginning. As soon as he took over, he never once said hi/hello, or made any small talk. I felt like he was forced to take over. I noticed he only liked to talk to white women at the salon and making small talk with them. Peter never asked if I was happy with the way he painted my toe nails or just overall if everything was ok. He Just kept chunking on the polish like a little toddler (see proof of pictures). My toe nails look horrible. On top of that he did my dip and was not to my liking at all. My dip also came out super chunky and all over the place. It was extremely horrible getting service done by a person that felt like he didn’t want to. He was so freaking rude and dismissive. I was a paying customer for services I wanted. I was quiet and very still the entire time. I didn’t speak a single word to him. It’s not like I’m getting any of the services for free or discounted. Peter should have asked if everything alright and if I was happy with the experience. I hate confrontation so I didn’t say anything at all. I just wanted to leave asap. I’ll never be back here. I hope this review teaches him a lesson on customer service. I hope his karma comes back to him in tenfold. Paying customers should get what they deserve not your rude, egocentric attitude. I have attached pictures for proof. They have cameras, I hope the owner is able to review the cameras and see David’s despicable behavior. I have provided pictures for proof.
