Lia Nails

Im disappointed as I really liked this place. It was my go to for about 2.5 years. I will accept my part in this as I didn’t make an appointment for extra services. I got a mani pedi and asked for a brow wax. I knew I was going to have to wait as it’s homecoming weekend, but I waited for a hour to 90 minutes patiently for one of the two technicians to be free who is able to do them. When one of the technicians came to the front to grab a nail client, and the other started the water for a walk in pedi. I got up and left. It makes me sad because I was telling the owner how much I enjoyed their services as he was doing my nails. It makes me sad, because I tremendously enjoyed getting things done there, but if you’re going to make your clients wait for over an hour, it shows exactly how much value they mean to you.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. GO TO ANY OTHER SALON. My nail tech was a Vietnamese lady wearing a white shirt. For strictly identification purposes, she had glasses and a round face shape too. She buffed my nails way too harshly, my nails were burning and it got even more painful under the UV lamp. She kept looking up and staring at my face at least 30 times throughout the entire time, I’m not even exaggerating. She was so rough with my cuticles, I have never had my cuticles hurt before when being cut but she made them hurt so badly and it felt so uncomfortable. She told her colleague something in a different language which I’m assuming is Vietnamese, he immediately got up for only like 10 seconds to go to the back and when he came back he came back with nothing and he just slowly walked back while staring at my face for a weirdly long amount of time. It was obvious she had told him something about my appearance and he got up only to look at my face. After he sat back down next to us helping his other client, they both started talking and laughing so hard. I felt so uncomfortable and I immediately got the feeling that it was about me. I wanted to leave so bad as soon as possible, and the way she was so harsh with my nails and my nails were hurting so bad just made everything worse. She was also very rude the whole time and would grab and twist my fingers around. She needs to get fired immediately. If you are a woman of color especially, please do not go here because you will not feel comfortable.

Scout is the best nail technician I’ve ever had. She was so upbeat and kind since the moment I walked in until the end. She did and amazing job on my manicure and she took her time to make sure it was perfect. My daughter got her nails done by John and they look really good! Our pedicures were great too!

Henry did the manicure/nail fill and Nini did the Shamrock design (hand painted). Total $51, which for a custom fill with almond shape was very reasonable. Henry really took his time, and I couldn't be happier with everyone's friendliness and the service received. First time here & will definitely return the next time I'm back in town! Highly recommend!!

I love Lia Nails - they do really high quality work with my manicures and pedicures - my gel manicure lasted up to 5 or 6 weeks. Everyone who works here is very professional and nice and I always feel like I get Five-Star service. Been getting my nails here for the last 6 months even though there are a ton of other salons closer to me. Love them. Updating to post a series of nails over the last few months!
