Things I love about this place: locally owned, friendly staff, good execution. This was my first time to this spot and I found out I have been to their other location in Wauconda! They are family owned and operated and I really enjoy the work they do at both shops. Priscilla did an amazing job on my mani pedi and nailed the picture that I provided (no pun intended 😝). My daughter got a full set and they were done quickly and looked awesome. My pedicure was really nice and I liked all of the different options that they had. We will definitely be back!

I come to this place semi regularly and they do a good job usually. But this last time was just horrible, they always switch who’s servicing your nails. And on top of that the lady who was servicing me tore up my cuticles. And they didn’t even color the full nail. I got my service on Friday 02/14 and not even two days after my nail polish chipped. Also not to mention these gel nails were $50! Hit or miss but they do terrible when they miss. Very disappointing I liked recommending this place to friends.

I've been coming to this salon for almost 10 years. I've brought many friends and family here as well. I've always liked the owners Stephen and his wife Rena. Over the last year, there seems to be a lot of turnover. Every time I go there's new people working and no one is consistently there. I decided a few weeks ago to get a deluxe pedicure and a regular manicure. This is a splurge for me since I am a stay-at-home mom. When I went to get it, the guy didn't even ask me what type of pedicure I wanted and just started. I let him know I wanted the deluxe because I have dry skin on my heels of my feet. He barely got any of it off and rushed through the pedicure. I thought multiple times he was coming back to finish and then I watched him walk out and left for the day. They sent me over to get my manicure and that lady seemed to rush as well. She didn't have me soak my nails. She didn't have me wash my hands. She didn't have me do any type of prep. She started cutting my nails and got sidetracked and continued to cut nails that were already cut. So now I had different length nails. The quality of this manicure was awful. She asked me if I was happy with it and I told her no. I then watched her walk up, get her purse and then left for the day. I've never had so much frustration with a nail salon, especially one that I've been loyal to for almost 10 years. My fingernails and toenails began chipping that same day. Even though they weren't gel, they were completely dry and should not have chipped that quick. It was a complete waste of money. I debated about leaving a review because I have been a customer for so long. I decided to call the owner today to discuss what happened and to my surprise he did not seem to care. It was very nonchalant and he did not seem surprised or concerned about what I was telling him. Unfortunately, that has made the decision for me not to go back here or recommend anyone else to go there.

Inconsistent services provided. Quality depends on who you get and their mood. After a year, I Don’t plan on going back. Lady who did last pedicure broke skin on top of my foot. Sent pics to email address and did not get a response. Stephen (Steven?) at the time didn’t seem to care.

I received my no chip mani and regular pedi Monday 7/7 evening. Tried to let the toes dry for 30mins before I had to go and another 45 mins in the car and still it came off. Don’t know if cheap product or what. The gel manicure chipped by Thursday..7/10. A TOTAL waste of money as this was supposed to last me until a vacation I have 7/14… I will now have to pay someone again to do a legitimate no chip- no reason a NO CHIP should chip within 7 days.
