Tiki Nail Spa

Tavia gave me a full acrylic set and did an amazing job! I changed my mind on the art in the middle of my appointment (before she started on the art) and she was super nice about it. She got the shape, length, and art perfect! I also really enjoy a quiet nail appointment so I can listen to my book/show and she was very friendly about it. Would definitely book with her again.

I went in shared a photo of what I wanted and first the lady who was doing my nails for acrylic was very rough and my nail beds are sore. However I didn’t complain and then another lady had to do the design at first I was really doubting if she could do it in the middle but was very respectful. She asked me is this fine and I didn’t want to be rude but it looked nothing like the photo. I said I don’t think that matches in the nicest way I could. She rolled her eyes and grabbed the colors of fake nails and threw it on the counter and told me to pick. I’m not a nail artist and have never been put into a situation like this. I’ve gotten my nails done since 8 and have never had bad nails or left with any complaints!! I picked the brown I thought was best. When she was doing the design which is the tortoise design it wasn’t even close to the photo. I really do think I could’ve done better at home. It’s one thing to not get it right and try your best but to be so rude and to roll your eyes and deny and refunds when you know your service is very bad. I tried going back in and talking to her nicely. She kept talking over me to the point my friend had to say can you please stop talking over her. She was trying really hard to argue and I did not go in to argue at all. Then after she tried blaming me for missing an appointment and I had nothing to do with it and my friend pointed that out and she admitted that as well. She also tried pointing out the shape and how I got it not the same shape but I don’t really understand what that has to do with the design.

I got my nails done here for a friends wedding and they turned out amazing. I love them. Did exactly what I asked for and the shape is done really well. Will be going back. First photo is what I wanted and second photo is what I had done. Exactly what I asked for!

I just had a pedicure done. The pedicure is the worst I have ever had. I normally go to nail factory and they’re great, they couldn’t get me in today so I went into Tiki. The lady that did my pedicure was older but I figured if she was still working she must still do a good job. I was wrong. She cut me on both big toes and had to use the stuff to stop them from bleeding. I get acrylic on my toes and she didn’t even shape them to match. The polish is up onto my skin on one toe. It also took almost 2 hours which any pedicure I’ve had in the past takes around an hour unless you get all the extras. I also paid for callus removal and they look the same. There may be other techs there that are great but I would avoid going in case you get the older lady.

Tiki nail is a very clean salon. I was quickly greeted and seated for my manicure. Sadly, the man who did my manicure completely cut my natural nails so he could place tips, which I had not planned on doing. My nails did end up looking nice, but a little longer than I asked for. He also put his head down and didn't talk to me the entire time. I will not be a return customer.
