Joy did an amazing job with my nails. Went in to get a gel french tip, but ended up going with the cat's eye by recommendation. VERY COOL PROCESS! My hands started shaking in the middle of everything, but Joy and another woman (who was doing my mom's nails) were very kind and offered water and some candy to help my low blood sugar (so sweet of them!). Overall, great experience. Will be going back to try a different color with cat's eye because these look SO cool!

Went for a manicure on 8/15. They were able to accommodate a schedule change upon calling, and accommodated my husband and me two hours earlier than originally planned. The salon was clean and quiet, which was great. Atmosphere was friendly and concentrated work space. The tools looked packaged like they came out of an autoclave, which is always a good sign. My nail artist misunderstood that I wanted a regular manicure and scuffed up my nails more than necessary, but the general cleaning of cuticles, shaping etc was well done. Nail polish application looked good. It is now five days after the appointment and my nails are chipping pretty hard. I was hoping for seven solid days, but I will say I did travel with these nails and I wash my hands probably 12-14 times a day + lotion every time so they get heavy cleaning and product use. Photos are from right after manicure and five days later. My husband had the Maui pedicure and to this day his feet look the best they ever have. It was a 1.5 hour session, but he said he enjoyed it. He was worried about the callus removal as he is a runner and had a race a few days later, worrying the lost callus would cause him blisters, but all is well and looks good. It’s not cheap, but I think the classic manicure price was adequate. The pedicure but a bit high, especially given no polish, but oh well. Would definitely return.

Wailea Nail Spa offers a wide range of services with prices that are pretty average for Maui. I went in for a new set of Gel X extensions and added a brown cat-eye polish they turned out beautiful! The team was quick, efficient, and had an impressive selection of colors and cat-eye finishes to choose from. Joy was my nail technician, and she did an amazing job. She was friendly, precise, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I’d definitely recommend booking with Joy if you’re looking for a quality nail experience in Wailea.

UPDATE 6/26/24 I went back today for a gel extension fill. Sabrina was my nail tech as Kim is no longer at the salon. Sabrina is fantastic! Friendly and personable. I had a great time talking story with her and she did an excellent job on my nails. I highly recommend Sabrina and Wailea Nails. _ _ _ _ _ Original Review 6/9/25 Super stoked to have a new nail salon in the neighborhood. My partner and I popped in for mani pedis and really enjoyed our experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We were offered drinks- I went with a Thai iced tea (my fave) to enjoy while I got my nails done. It was my first time getting gel extensions on my hands and I’m so happy with the service Kim provided. All of the equipment is new and everything is very clean. I watched staff wipe down the spa chairs between guests as well (not just the bowls, the whole chair). We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re visiting or live in the area. Free parking lot. Walking distance from the Wailea resorts.

Joy did a manicure & pedicure for me for my wedding! She gave me the best advice on products, services, and designs and I LOVE my nails!! The best experience I’ve had and will definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Joy paid attention to detail and her creativity with the color scheme and cat eye designs was perfect!! One of my nails/fingers is a little crooked and you’d never be able to tell since she was able to make it look even and match all of my other nails!
