JC Nails Dalton ( $5 OFF for New Customer)

Cherry did the BEST Halloween nails. I’ve gotten so many compliments and it’s not even been a full 12 hours. Her skill is unmatched! The ghost and spider have a 3D affect. She’s also so nice and lovely. Nervous folks should always pick her! She’s awesome.

I’m very upset right now. I have been coming here for 3 years and seeing the same top tier nail tech, but she will be out for a couple of months so I am not able to see her. I came in with the most simple request (gel manicure) and left with damaged nails, chemically burned skin and no apology! (See photos) No one should be treated the way I was but as a pregnant customer, the situation was far worse. The first lady they put me with (Nancy) barely lets my old gel polish soak off before grinding my nails completely paper thin to remove the rest. She then tested gel colors (which I never asked her to do) directly on my bare nail without a base, I asked her to take that off and she did. She then began painting the gel and was getting it all over my fingers and putting layers of gel on my nails that were way too thick (they were not drying for each cycle)! She was wanting me to put my hands under the lamp with gel polish all over my skin! How does she not see what’s wrong with that? I already have contact dermatitis because of nails tech like her and I told her that. I said, “this cannot touch my skin because I will have an allergy” but she continues anyway! Finally, who I assume is the manager sensed maybe I was irritated, comes over and says, “What’s the problem?” acting like I’m the one with an issue. So I politely told her that I cannot have gel polish all over my fingers but Nancy continues to slather the gel on. Manager says nothing and stands in silence. I finally snapped and said, “Can we just take this off? I don’t want it anymore.” So she takes me over to another table to take it off and says someone else will redo them. The women that I assume is the manager (very visibly irritated at me) puts my nails in a bag full of acetone and leaves. I had a cut on my middle finger that was clearly bandaged and visible and she submerged it in that acetone anyway, which was completely unnecessary. Why couldn’t she have used a bowl to protect my wound like the first lady did? I know why, because my health concerns were irritating her. The next women that polished my nails (Cindy) was very gentle and did a great job. I go to pay and I’m not only charged full price for all this but the people upfront act confused when I show them a $5 off coupon that was texted to me BY JC NAILS because I racked up points from coming here. Several people had to look at my phone code to confirm it was real before applying it. It was ridiculous behavior after what just happened. Needless to say, don’t come here and get a random technician….read the reviews and do your research on who to ask for or do NOT come at all. If this place was professional at all and cared about their long term customers they would offer me nail and do something like powder dip (for free) until my flappy thin nails strengthen back up. Anyone who has ever worked hard to grow their nails out, knows how hard it is. I can’t believe they damaged them this bad and acted like nothing.

I love this place. I have now been 3 times and they are a bit rude at first but then they warm up and are very nice. They have done amazing on my nails every time I go. I got an airbrushed green ombré last time and they held up so well. I will definitely be back in the future. They are very reasonably priced too!

This was my first time visiting this salon, and I will absolutely be returning! I made an appointment with Cherry after reading her great reviews, and I am beyond pleased. She absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Do not get me wrong, my child’s nails look great and the woman who did her toes did a wonderful job. But, the woman who checks you in needs to adjust her attitude and not be rude whenever a customer has a question or does not fully understand what nail services are offered. The woman who checked me in at the front, was very rude and I did not appreciate being interrupted while I was explaining what kind of nails my child would like. I also added a picture because they cut my daughters finger, which I’m sure was an accident but when I pointed it out to them they did not apologize, or say anything about it whatsoever. When I am paying $75 for a service, I except some form of customer service to be decent as well.
