Dan’s Nails & Spa

The staff and ambiance were very friendly and welcoming. I got a simple matte black french. The nails turned out well. The lady even made sure to correct any accidental lumpiness or air bubbles on the nail before I left. I did have a couple minor issues: 1) I originally came in for a simple gel full-set on my original nails since I purposely grew them out but they end up cutting my nails then added fake tips so I ended up getting charge more than I wanted. But the cost weren’t too bad so I didn’t mind it. 2) the shape of the nail. I asked for coffin shaped but still got square. Again they were just minor concerns. The nails still turned out great and overall still pretty satisfied.

I’ve been to many different salons within 6 months. This is the first place that felt comfortable and satisfied. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is awesome; you can tell they care for each other and their customers. The women and men who work there are great conversationalist. While I was there I can see other nails and they were beautifully painted and designed, every customer left with a smile.

I broke all of my natural nails working edc this year and was worried I wouldn't have time to book anything so late to get my nails done. Dans accepted walkins and I went right when they were open to find the door ready for customers a bit before the technically opened. Dan signed me in quickly and was so friendly. Ms Kim did my nails and they were perfect! She was quick and super friendly and I felt so comfortable. Next time I'll definitely make an appointment beforehand out of respect for their time but overall 10 out of 10! The pic with red nails was my inspo and I chose blue. I absolutely loved them . UPDATED REVIEW Sep 2025: Both my husband and I got white patches on our nails after manicures about 2 weeks ago. We only have regular manicures. Curious that it happened to both of us. Is it fungus? trauma? dryness? .... I don't know but I will not go back to Dan's. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Nice decor, clean, and comfortable chairs. 3 stars because the usual male cashier pays more attention to his phone than customers standing right in front of him (so rude); and I haven't heard any background music in quite a while. Little ambiance. I'm typically happy with a regular mani pedi using Kelly. Female technicians are almost always friendly even though most don't speak English well. I let male technicians do my nails twice. One was great, but the other was awful and disappeared before he put on the top coat... WTH!! I don't get my nails done often. There are good techs here, but it's probably time for me to look elsewhere for a salon with good techs and the ambiance of a "salon".

The look fine because I had her erase and start over like 4x and at the end I just felt bad and said do whatever you can. The quality is just not there. These won’t last they feel weak. She was a sweet lady but she herself told me she was out of practice and at that point the acrylics were already on what choice did I have . It’s just not what I wanted AT ALL and I asked her several times before we started if she could do what I wanted and she assured me she could. Best of luck to them but I wouldn’t recommend or go back here.
