Sobe Nails Hair Waxing Facial Eyelash Massage

Came in on a cruise. Saw this place had good reviews so I called ahead and booked. I received a gel pedi w/ French and an acrylic refill with a cut down and French. Absolutely no designs. I was charged $160. Additionally the heavy set guy who did my nails cut me twice with the drill. When I asked him to please be careful, he proceeded to tell me that my nails are thick and that he didn’t cut me. I didn’t argue with him. Just made up my mind to speak with my dollars. I showed them photos of what I wanted, and they still struggled to get it right. Had to have someone else switch in to do the French after the first few failed attempts. Remember… it’s basic French. This made me miss my Pilates appointment because they ran over trying to get the French done. SMH. When I paid, I PROUDLY AND QUIETLY OPTED NOT TO LEAVE A TIP due to the SUBPAR SERVICE. The person checking me out - the same guy who cut me with the drill twice, denied it, and then said it was because my nails are thick - announced to the entire salon ‘SO NO TIP GUYS’. I retorted by advising that I would be leaving a review in response. So here I am. If it weren’t for him doing that, I would not be leaving this review. Speaking with my money would have been good enough. But he insisted, so here I am. Instead of taking the sign that their service wasn’t worthy of a tip, he attempted to retaliate and tried to publicly humiliate me for not leaving him a tip HE WAS NOT ENTITLED TO! I’m proud that I have the balls to tell stores like this that their service wasn’t good in the way that matters most - with my money and my reviews. Beware! P.S. The receipt says Mai Nails but it is Sobe. Check your receipt and you’ll see the same. Update: It’s been 2 hours and the gel is already lifting. I posted a new photo to show it. And he had the nerve to be mad about not getting a tip. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Best nail salon in sobe! They are perfectionists and really care about the customer - which I appreciate. I mean … look at these nails… gorgeous! It took a little to win me over after my first few visits, but they have completely shifted and quickly became my forever spot. Can’t wait to go back! 💕💅🏽

The salon may be smaller compared to the South Beach nail salons but they are excellent. Call, thorough, kind and most of all their manis and pedis last!! Like really last. Don’t bubble, don’t chip and Lin is excellent with gel, dip or a just a regular mani pedi. Highly recommended. And I’ve been to them all. They also do brow tinting and waxing.

Best prices on The Beach!! I love this nail salon so much! Selena is amazing and patient with my brows. I love how Selena takes the time for my nails too

Very nice and professional.. Lin and Ken are the best! My husband and I went for a pedicure and they made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Please watch out for the sign. You might miss it but it’s the best nail shop I’ve been in Miami!
