Flow Spa Key West

The spa is small but comfortable. The shower treatment is great. But part of my experience was so bad and upsets me so much that I'm giving the whole experience 1 star. I'm a massage therapist too and when I say that this is the worst massage I ever had, it includes receiving dozens of massages, including from students practicing on a person for the first time. She didn't do anything remotely resembling a routine and kind of haphazardly rubbed random parts of my back. It didn't seem like she was familiar with anatomy. She would randomly focus on my scalp, and when she was working on my limbs, she would pick them up flop them back down without support. She didn't properly drape my lower half as she worked on my legs and I could feel my lower, ahem, parts exposed. The pressure was quite deep at times, and there was no warm up before she worked on any part of body, moving immediately into deeper pressure which was quite painful to the lower back injury I mentioned twice. At other times, she worked directly over my spine, including in my neck. In the beginning, I asked for additional time on two areas, which didn't happen. When I asked again during the massage, she did do some movements and clearly felt a spot of tension that could be worked more and just...didn't. Like she didn't know how. I don't know that anything else I said would have made a difference. I realize that everybody practices differently, but I want to make it clear that this is not a matter of preference, this was a failure of basic massage knowledge. I hate that I paid so much for this experience, I think over $200 for my massage alone? I should have said something while I was there, but I was so taken aback and wanted to salvage what should have been a relaxing day that I didn't dispute it. I contacted the spa and they ignored me. This package was supposed to be the highlight of my vacation and it was just awful.

I received a facial and full body massage as a birthday gift. Victoria was so focused on my needs as an individual using products that not only were designed for my age but also for what my body needed. I left feeling relaxed and years younger. I intend to repeat as my travels to Key West allow.

We got a couples massage here on our honeymoon this week and it was excellent. The masseuses were professional, communicative, and thorough. It was relaxing from start to finish. I highly recommend Flow Spa!

I was visiting key west on a girls trip and decided to have some spa time. I chose flow spa for the reviews alone. They did not disappoint. I had the island scrub (full body scrub) and a mini facial. I will definitely be trying some of their other services on my return. Worth every penny. You’re making a good choice here at flow spa.

My wife & I enjoyed a couples massage, my wife’s first massage experience. Jessica & Lorraine were professional and made us both feel at ease. Highly recommended!
