Updated Review: After getting a gel manicure last Thursday, my polish started chipping by Friday and by the following Wednesday, four nails had completely peeled off. I was really disappointed at first because gel polish should last at least a week or two. However, I reached out to the salon, and the gentleman who answered was friendly, helpful, and quick to offer a redo. I went back and had the polish redone, and I appreciated how they handled it. I feel good about how it turned out this time hopefully it lasts the way gel polish should. I’m glad they stood behind their service and made it right.

We are in town for an event and my sister in law made us an appointment here. We absolutely love this place!! They did such an amazing job, especially with my 4 year old. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Nice owners, clean location but they tried to cut a few corners. I wanted to rinse my hands of dust before paint (standard practice at my home salon) but I got the vibe this was inconvenient for them. I rinsed & dried my nails anyway before paint. They painted 2 nails without a base coat until I spoke up and she wiped and started over with a base coat. She stated she doesn't normally do a base b/c it makes the coat too thick. That's news to me. I've always gotten a base coat with no issues. I was surprised that I had to be firm on basic processes, especially when I was the only person in the salon. What was the rush!? A 2nd customer came in halfway through my service and was seated directly to my left when all the tables in the salon were open. It made it feel a bit cramped and odd b/c we were forced to hear her close conversations when there was so much room in the salon where she could have been seated. Overall it's a nice salon to visit when mine is too busy but you should be firm and very specific with what you want.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The owners Paul and Jennifer are the sweetest people. The shop itself is super cute and very clean. I’ve brought all my friends here and they too have had a great experience. They are very attentive and do great work. They don’t rush and make sure you’re happy with the finished product. I just took my best friend here for her wedding day nails & she couldn’t have been happier with how they turned out. The Winthrop plaza where the nail shop is located is super nice too- grab a drink at The Patio Or Acropolis before you get your nails done to enjoy a full girls day/night. ***The photo of the ombré bridal nails attached was taken a week later and they still look fresh!***

I love this shop and I have only had two folks do my nails but my other friends have gone to other technicians and speak highly of them as well.. Jen and Paul are great people and my nails look great when I leave and my pedicures do what they are supposed to do ..: feel good look good! Posh in Winthrop are a great salon !
