Modern Nail Spa

I came to Modern Nail Spa after a bad experience at another salon, and I’m so glad I did. The two technicians I worked with were absolutely wonderful—patient, attentive, and committed to making sure I left with a design I truly loved (the first picture). I couldn’t be happier with how my nails turned out! The salon itself was also clean and well-maintained. That said, I have to be honest about the overall experience. I came in with two other people, and unfortunately, they didn’t receive the same level of care. My cousin’s technician, a younger male, openly expressed that he didn’t want to be there and didn’t enjoy doing nails. He complained throughout her appointment, disregarded her preferences, and ended up cutting her multiple times. My mom’s technician, a young woman, spoke politely, but her demeanor felt cold and she did a rushed job with my mom’s set—including harsh cuticle work and a very unblended gradient design (second picture is what she got, third is what she wanted). My mom offered multiple times to switch to a solid color if the technician didn’t feel confident doing the gradient, but the technician insisted she choose whichever option she preferred—implying she was confident in doing the gradient if that’s what my mom wanted. While I personally had a great experience and love my nails, the inconsistent service between technicians makes me hesitant to return. I hope this feedback helps the salon improve, because they clearly have some amazing talent—and I’d love to see that standard applied across the board.

The owner was friendly. It was my first time getting acrylics; I wanted nice nails for my wedding. They looked great in the end. The nail tech was able to mimic a photo of what I wanted well. However, in my opinion the nail station I was at didn't appear to have been cleaned before I got there, just due to the fact that everything was quite dusty, including the tools that were being used on me. I wasn't sure if this was normal. My skin got cut under the nail a couple times, which I understand sometimes happens, but there was no offer to clean or disinfect it in the moment.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I haven’t been able to get my nails done for years, but the owner took the time to really listen to me and understand exactly what I needed. After one honest conversation, he reassured me, helped me feel comfortable, and delivered perfect dip nails. I couldn’t be happier! The staff has been amazing from start to finish… kind, patient, and so welcoming. I’m so grateful to finally have a nail salon I can trust. Highly recommend! 💕

Lynn is so talented, highly recommend! Nails lasted 4 weeks and looked as shiny as day one. Today's nails, pic does not do do them justice, they sparkle and shine!

Love this Nail Salon!! The Owner, “T” is very knowledgeable, efficient, and does amazing work!! The atmosphere is friendly, relaxing, and I look forward to being pampered every visit!! I am complimented on my nails daily!! 💕💅
