I was in need of foot care and google pedicure near me. Skyway Nails was 3 miles south of me. When I walked in there were happy busy people, enjoying life! They quickly got me in a pedicure chair and set me up. I picked a color I had never used before. The technician understood the need for a good base to make that color look it’s best. She was very gentle yet massaged very well. Overall a great experience and I found a place close to work!

I don’t like writing negative reviews about local businesses. Local businesses are the heart of our town, and that’s why I made several attempts to address this directly before sharing anything publicly. This is more of a heads-up for anyone considering fairy hair. I’ve had fairy hair elsewhere before, and it lasts over 6 MONTHS - basically until it grows out and gets cut during haircuts. In this case, the fairy hair was tied into multiple strands of my natural hair which causes them to get snagged while combing or brushing and pulls your hair out - losing the hair and fairy hair. Not everyone knows this but, fairy hair should only be attached to one single strand so it doesn’t interfere with brushing or styling. Because it was tied to multiple strands, it snagged when I combed my hair and I lost several pieces within just a few days. In addition to that, I specifically asked for the fairy hair to be placed deeper in my hair so it would softly peek through and shimmer. I was assured this was being done, but some were so shallowly placed, I could actually see the knot—which isn’t how fairy hair is meant to look. I also wasn’t impressed with the quality of the fairy hair itself. It wasn’t smooth and had a rough, kinky texture that caused it to stick out instead of blending naturally. I tried contacting the business multiple times to talk about the issue, not to book another appointment. Last time I called, I was asked to come in this morning. I brought several pieces of fairy hair that had come out to show that they were tied to multiple strands, and I explained that I wasn’t asking for a refund—just for a few pieces to be installed correctly so they would last. The conversation kept coming back to their three-day complaint policy, which I wasn’t aware of and hadn’t seen - when he showed me the sign it is at their desk but behind a Christmas tree decoration. And he asked why I didn't say something at that time - I thought that made no sense since I can't see the back of my head. I don't feel the 3 day policy should be as strict when this wasn’t about normal wear and tear but rather an issue that it wasn't done properly and that I could prove it. But there was no interest in looking at the hair I brought - I even offered to pull on of the fairy hairs out that was still there to show him it was tied to multiple hairs. He repeated the 3 day policy. I’m disappointed - it isn't something I treat myself to often and was excited to have it for the holidays and into the new year but what really bugged me is why he ask me to come in, let me waste time and gas, if he wasn't going to do anything to make it right anyway? That part was in considerate. Bottomline - I want others to know that fairy hair, when done correctly, can last months—not just weeks. Make sure it is close to the scalp and only tied to one hair. And Skyway - if you aren't going to try to help someone, don't waste their time and have them drive there. You could have said everything you said over the phone or at least looked at what I brought with me to see what I meant so it didn't feel like it was for nothing.

Went for the first time on a busy Sunday and they took great care of me! New did my nails and I am so happy how they turned out! I will be back, thank you New!!

I always get my nails done with Evelyn, and she has never failed me. Today, I wanted to get rid of my naturally long nails, and she talked me into these beautiful almond shaped red nails!
