Gem Nail Bar

I have been going to Zae at Gem Nail Bar regularly for over a year now. She is the best nail tech I have ever experienced by far! The owners Lucy & Mike are also amazing and so sweet. If you are looking for a new nail salon go check out Gem Nail Bar!

I really wanted to support this local business, but my experience was disappointing from start to finish. I paid over $90 for a manicure, and within just a few hours, the polish was already chipped and peeling — not what you’d expect for this price point. When I called to politely share my concerns and give the business a chance to make it right, the manager was dismissive and uninterested. His response was essentially, “this kind of polish chips in a few days,” even though mine chipped within hours. I explained I didn’t want to write a negative review or share photos of my nails, but the attitude I received left me no choice. The staff I encountered during my appointment was also not friendly or welcoming, which made the whole experience feel rushed and careless. If you’re considering this salon, I would recommend looking at other options in Crawfordville or even making the short drive to Tallahassee. I’ve never had this issue elsewhere. It’s unfortunate because I believe in supporting local businesses — but only when they value their customers.

i absolutely love this place!! they always give me the best designs. its crazy how ive been coming here for almost 3 years! i may not be regular but i still love these guys!

This nail salon is the absolute Best!!!! All the staff is knowledgeable, professional and very friendly. Lucie is amazing at creating art work on nails. Perfect each and every time. They take their time to ensure that everything is done right and to your satisfaction. Helen does a wonderful job with pedicures making your feet feel great!!! The salon is always clean and inviting!!! I highly recommend this place!!! Thank you all for a fantastic experience!!!

Customer service is superb. They greet you by your name (to me that is amazing, they have so many clientele). My nail technician Vincent is the best. Always a smile, attention to detail, excellent work. My first nail designs was completed on my past visit. I am so very please with the results. When I come into the nail salon, I can just relax and know I am getting excellent service.
