Nails By Jimmy

My nails always look good when they are done at “Nails by Jimmy.” I have been coming to Jimmy over 20 years when he started working at a station at Susan Merrill Hair Salon. I have sent many people to Jimmy’s and they have always been pleased and continue with him. The staff is very good and everyone is pleasant. His pricing is fair and they always aim to please. He does not rob people. He is very fair for his services!

If you want trendy nails and you like your shape to be SHARP and not ROUND. Please do not come here. The atmosphere was incredible, the customer service was amazing. But the nails however? Terrible. The skill set of these nail techs do not match. Working on 2-3 people at a time does not get you the results you need. Them failing to tell me that they couldn’t execute the design I wanted right away is disappointing. As I was telling Jimmy to make my nails a little sharper and cleaner he proceeded to tell me that, “they look sharp enough to me”. Very disappointing, and I am honestly embarrassed for my nails to look like this. The polish is inconsistent, the French tip are uneven and very, very, very inconsistent . I’m not sure where we went wrong. But please inform your customers that you are unable to do a style. I feel robbed.

Down visiting my son I’ve had a hard time finding a place to get my nails done at on the off chance I tried this little salon. My nails were in rough shape due to a poor manicure that I had received at home. They straighten that out listen to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. One of them did ship two days later I called them. They fixed it immediately and made sure the other nails were OK which was awesome. Service definitely will keep them in my directory when I am visiting my son down here.

I have been going to Nails By Jimmy for 20 years. I have never not been happy with my nails or my pedicure. They always want to please. Jimmy takes pride in his work. Tracy and Belle do great pedicures. Very friendly shop. Very clean shop. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Try Nails by Jimmy. You will love it 😊
