I’ve been getting my nails done by Mhika for the past 3 years now and I will always stay recommending her to everyone. I get my nails done about once every month or so but nails from her usually stay solid for at least 5-6 weeks, even for me as someone who works with her hands a lot. Every time I present her with a design, she recreates or even improves upon it immaculately and anytime I’ve gotten a freestyle done, she has absolutely KILLED it to the point where I look forward to when she offers them. Going to Mhika has also helped my nails get stronger and healthier on their own because she has focused on encouraging healthy nail habits and proper care. I never thought my natural nails would ever be as long as they are nowadays and it's truly the dream. I love going to the FIRST NON-TOXIC nail salon in Gainesville ! :) Mhika is so welcoming, sweet, and talented! I’ve been seeing her for over a year now. Her space is beautiful as she’s put a lot of time into creating Velvet Aura. It makes me feel very comfortable, especially since it’s one-on-one. I always look forward to our monthly appointments ☺️ I love extra & detailed nails, Mhika is so talented and kills it every-time. As someone who did their own manicures for 5 years before I met Mhika, she has more skill and talent than I could ever. I never liked acrylic growing up or the way it affected my nails after. Switching to natural nails with Mhika was the best decision I made for my nail health. Also, my nails have never been healthier! Mhika is such a skilled and courteous nail stylist! Just by walking into Velvet Aura you feel relaxed from her plants and complimentary coffee/snacks station. She always takes extra care with her Russian manicure (included FREE of charge with every service), very attentive to details, and the vibes are always immaculate. I also appreciate that her salon is 100% fume free. I've never had ANY complaints whatsoever, my nails are always beautiful!
