Shining Nails & Lashes II

I got polygel nails with nail art here. I showed my nail tech a photo of my inspiration, and she replicated the design perfectly. Spent $90 plus tip, and it was totally worth it. I’ll definitely be going back for a cat-eye style nail art next time, and I’m excited to see how that turns out! Edit: (initially gave 5 stars) it’s a hit or a miss with this one. Thought I found the place for me, but I guess not! My pink nails started chipping the night of the day I got them done.

The salon is clean, the owner is super nice however this is the 2nd time in a row where my nails have chipped and the gel is also coming off I did go back and they fixed it for free! Well continue going here Updated- 6 /28/ 25 Scheduled an appointment for a refill and pedicure with Jenny she did my refill the gel has been chipping ..my pedicure was done by another young lady who did a horrible job it was like a baby working on my feet! Gel chipped also! I paid $10 per toe for acrylic to keep my toe nail from breaking it looks horrible, uneven and thick. It is time to find another nail salon If I make it an appointment for two services I expect it to be done by the same person vs rushing to service others without an appointment

I have been trying random places in DE since I moved here in 2017. I lost hope and would just drive to Philly to get my nails done. Today decided to try another place and Shining nails had great reviews. I called to see if it was ok to walk-in. They told me to come on in. I was greeted as soon as I walked in place was aesthetically pleasing and clean. Jenn was such a sweet heart listened to my concerns and did my nails perfectly. Finally I don’t have to drive 45 mins for nails 😊 Pedicure was great as well

My favorite nail salon hands down!! Jenny is the best! Everyone here is awesome and does amazing work! Come check my girl out at her second location shinning nails & lashes 2 right of Salem church road! Tell them Kareemah from Philly sent you!! 10 stars for their customer service and prices!! Run don’t walk! The best in Newark hands down!!

Only place in Delaware I go to get my nails and feet and eyebrows done. Very great staff feels like family, prices are perfect and the shop is highly clean and they offer beverages. Will be back in 2 weeks for a touch up.
