I have been going to Uptown Salon for the past 15 years!!! I have always received excellent service!!! The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting. The stylists are great and do a wonderful job on their clients. My nail tech Connie is the best in the business!! I have the most beautiful nails every 2 weeks!! I love her!!!! The receptionists are awesome! Lori and Caitlin are always friendly and go out if their way to help you. I can't say enough on how much I love this salon. I would highly recommend them for any of their services!!!

I have been going here for years, and have never once had a bad experience. My hair stylist Circee, and truly all the staff are nothing but professional and fun to be around. The atmosphere is truly the best and relaxing. I recommend this salon to everyone and will continue to do so. I promise you will not be disappointed.

(FYI, They've edited their response to my review repeatedly and actually their first response berated me aggressively using all caps, I hope they seek the medical attention that is needed at this time. ... .I politely asked the receptionist if someone had time for a consultation. It took her 15 minutes before asking me if I wanted to sit down. I had a successful interaction with Jenn the stylist. I did mention to the the stylist the name of the local salon I recently went to that did a very very poor job on my foils. During my consultation the receptionist continually interrupted by shouted to my stylist about different things. One of the nail techs gave me " stink eye " as I was departing after my consultation with Jenn today. I was appalled that the receptionist would shout out to Jenn from all the way around the corner to tell her something instead of coming over to the station! So trashy! I was also shamed by the receptionist for booking an additional consultation appointment instead of a service! Receptionist never said have a nice night or thanks for stopping in. No closing comments just GHOSTING!! Jenn was great, however.....My hair needs color correction so I'm doing things in stages instead of paying the $440 for color correction! I'm on a fixed income at 65 years of age and retired! Regardless of my positive interaction with Jenn, the low class and hostile treatment the receptionist and nail techs gave me has left me completely turned off!! I'm OUT! Receptionist is total local Westerly TRASH!!

This salon is full of the most reasonable people Ive ever met in beauty! Very clean salon, ultra friendly and accommodating receptionists and stylists. Circee has been doing my hair for years, she's a gem. Pretty much everyone i know loves this salon.

Kaitlyn did my hair today and i’ll never go anywhere else! It was my first time here after a few bad experiences somewhere else and she made me feel so comfortable, she was sweet, knowledgeable, and my hair came out amazing. Will absolutely be a returning client!!
