Forget Me Not Nail Lounge

Super upset with my nails. The salon did refund me so I do appreciate that. However, my nails came out pretty bad and my skin was filed over and over again. Unfortunately my fingers actually hurt pretty bad now and I’m afraid my nails are ruined as they were filed so close to the skin and nail bed. I ended up going to another salon to take the gel off since my skin and nails were in so much pain.

I have been going to this salon for quite a while. I find the salon to be clean the atmosphere wonderful and the technicians friendly. Andy is the technician that I go to who is absolutely amazing but there are many others who do a wonderful job as well? Ie: Coco, Pia , Lisa and many more ! I Absolutely love this salon and recommend it highly.

ForgetMeNot is not just a nail place that does good nails, it’s a vibe! It’s a high class salon. Super cute inside and I love the menu of options to choose from. I go to Coco and she makes sure I am taken care of. Highly recommend.

If my nails weren’t nice, I would’ve given them a 1 star. I didn’t want to leave this review, but my friends told me I should share so people would know and given the other bad reviews, I’m not the first! To start, the salon is very nice and clean. Lots of option for nails colors and just great layout. I was a walk-in because I’m new to the area and was referred by my friend who was a consistent customer. My nail tech was an older woman who was pretty rude and short with me. She acted like I had three heads when I asked for a nude color for my french manicure base. She kept calling over the girl from the front desk to answer my questions. She cut my nail bed and I was profusely bleeding. There was no apology and then she used the napkin that was used for my blood to wipe my nails! When I asked for nail charms, she developed an attitude and started talking to the technician next to her who proceeded to side eye me. I got what I asked for but it was honestly pulling teeth. My pedicure was fine but once again the customer service was nonexistent. I asked for flowers on my big toe and the lady was laughing at the design she did with the other nail tech who did my manicure and I felt so uncomfortable. Then when she finished, she just said “You’re done” and disappeared. I’ve been getting my nails done since a young age and NEVER in my life have I ever experienced such service. This place is close to where I live so it was so convenient, but I honestly will go elsewhere. I paid $120 for a gel french manicure, gel french pedicure, to bleed on the table, and to get side eyed. They seem to have regulars customers, but I can’t imagine going here again based upon the treatment I received.

It’s a clean salon and a nice atmosphere but your experience will vary widely depending on the tech. They all seem to struggle to shape almond nails though, fyi. For $60, I’d like my polish to be smooth and not bumpy or bubbly. It’s annoying to have to immediately fix it myself. But I’ve also gotten really good manicures here so it’s luck of the draw.
