V Nail Bar And Lash

I got my nails done here and I feel that the service was not what was expected. I booked a UV full set and a gel pedicure online through their site. The retention was amazing and the place is so beautiful but I felt the service could have been smoother. I asked for the aura design with chrome (suggested by tech) with a "short" almond shape. I cant remember the technicians name but he wasn't happy about the short almond shape. I specifically ask for this because I have long nail beds and my nails do grow super fast. The cuticles were not cut and I did not see an option for that online nor was I asked during the appointment.  When he was done with the design he completed with out the chrome and added it after i had mentioned it (he was also the one who suggested the chrome). My nails had air bubbles and they were indeed noticeable. I don't think they thoroughly checked my booking because after I was done with my hands I was handed a ticket to pay.. I had to let them know about my pedicure. The tech doing my pedicure was so nice but I think he was just learning. He did an ok job but my toes were burning for the next two days. I will return for a rush appointment but as a luxurious nail spa place I expect better. Complimentary drinks/snacks were also offered but does not justify luxury.

The salon is clean and the staff were polite, but my dip powder manicure fell short of expectations. The finish wasn’t neat and there were clumps of powder under my nails that my tech (Lee) had to fix after I pointed them out. I also felt the situation could have been handled better since no discount was offered for the inconvenience, and checkout was a bit frustrating because they didn’t have singles for change. With more attention to detail and better customer care, the experience could be much improved.

How I needed to be pampered today. I was driving by and decided to go in for a little self loving. This Nail Bar is absolutely amazing. Upon entering I was greeted by a nice gentleman who smiled and said” welcome to V nail Bar and Lash”. I told him what I needed then politely sat and waited. As I sat there, I observe how attentive and efficient they were working. The atmosphere is super calm, friendly, clean and very organized. Tons of nail colors to choose from. I was then greeted by David T and taken to my chair to start my pedicure. He gave me a menu of drinks and told me to choose something to drink (whaaaaaaa?) Complimentary Drinks!!! I live here now!! What a great idea to have in a Nail Bar. He was so sweet, helpful, kind, gentle, patient and detailed oriented with my nails. So, if ever you’re in Portchester swing on by V Nail Bar and Lash to get pampered by David T.

Highly recommend this salon! It is beautiful and everything is new, nice and clean! Lisa did my pedicure and Linda did my gel full set. They were both so accommodating and did an amazing job with my nails. I was so surprised that they actually serve cocktails while you are getting your nails done! I didn’t get one but that was a nice touch as well. My only criticism is that I wish there were magazines around - my phone was dying and the charging pad on my pedicure chair wasn’t working. Still a 5 star experience though!

I did my nails with Linda. This was my second time coming here and she was recommended. I did gel X medium length almond nails. She did it exactly like the picture ( dare I say even better than the picture ). Her communication was nice And she always made sure that I felt comfortable.
