Posh Nail Bar

Finally found my go to nail salon! The technicians and receptionist were super friendly and welcoming. My technician Kimie did a fantastic job on my nails. I’ve already set another appointment to come back for a fill. Edit to add, I have been coming here every two weeks for months and never had a bad experience or less than stellar set of nails. Love Kimie! The staff is also super friendly and checks in on you throughout the appointment. Angelique did a cute fall set for my daughter which she absolutely loved.

Not sure where to start. I had a mani pedi scheduled for 4:00. Took 3 hours to do a full set, med length (i asked for short, square curve edges, since I hike and work computer all day...did not get what I asked for). Neutral color with 3 flower petals (dots) for fall. Took three hours and never got to my pedi. Nail tech said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to me the entire appointment. Other techs ended up talking to me some. So drink? Nope...did not even ask me. Then I thought she was new...nope, been there for 2 years. Horrible...left in tears because it was not relaxing or anything. Had 48hours on TV...oh yes relax and watch real murd. on TV. I asked the tech to please make my nails thin because I cannot stand the thick amount used today on acrylic she did not like that I asked that. Proceeded to pull my hand towards her to tell me it was too far back but did NOT stop to ask if she could and I had surgery on that shoulder and this was my very first time in since surgery because I can move it now but not how she pulled it. I should have walked out. Never again...nails look terrible and getting them fixed elsewhere. They are long almond mess that are soooooo thick and lift so when I wash my hair it is great fun. Cannot stand them. Junk for $100...yes 100...charged me 20.00 for dots!!!!!

This was my first time at this salon and I LOVE it! The website really accurately depicts the vibe in the salon, it is super cute on the inside and I love the I alone scheduling. I got a hard gel fill. I originally scheduled with Dori but ended up working with Megan and she was amazing! She checked in with me at each step to make sure I liked everything. She is super gentle and fun to talk to. I scheduled for one of the last appointments of the day I think. She ended up having to do a little more shaping than anticipated and knew we’d run over a bit. She didn’t a great job communicating what we could accomplish as far as design with the time she had. She didn’t make me feel rushed to get out. The set came out amazing! The shape is gorgeous and she did an amazing job with the French tips! Prices are comparable to other salons I’ve gone/ checked online and definitely worth the money. There is a bar inside, I couldn’t get a drink this time but I can’t wait to try them next time with a pedi.

I have mixed feelings on this salon. I originally called and made an appointment for 5 people, I requested 5 manicures because I didn’t know what everyone specifically wanted. Some people in my party ended up wanting full sets/ acrylic fill. I understand that it is partially my fault for not being specific, however if we needed to be specific on wanting full sets etc I’m a little irritated I wasn’t asked questions on the phone or told I needed to give specifics. I have been to many many salons and usually when I call they just ask if it’s for “manicures” or “pedicures” and when we get there we give them specifics. I have never experienced a place not being able to do it because I just said manicure over the phone. I am not saying I’m not partially at fault I know I am but the fact I wasn’t asked clarifying questions over the phone was irritating. Half my party wasn’t able to get what we wanted because of that. I’m not super thrilled with how the staff handled it. The woman at the front desk was kind but I feel like I was definitely getting some dirty looks from some of the techs looking at myself and my party like we were stupid or something but as I have said I have never had this problem at any other salon. Now on to the actual nail service. My specific nail tech was very sweet. However she did not even ask if I wanted my nails cut and just cut them all the way down and honestly way too short to the point she was pretty much filing my skin when she was shaping them. I absolutely hate having short nails it is a sensory issue for me. I was also frustrated because I wanted the design on my ring finger on all of my fingers. It was frustrating being told they only had time for gel manicure not full sets which fine whatever but then it’s also oh I don’t have time to do the design on all of your nails either even though it did not take her long at all for the two she did do. They are not bad by any means they are very cute nails I am just frustrated at the overall experience

I totally enjoy the time I’m in the salon with the best Nail Tech in town, Dori! She is very creative and artistic! Every appt that I have fun and relaxing. I always leave with such beautiful nails.
