We’ve only been coming here for a short time, but we already love it. The service is great, the products are high quality, and the pricing is very fair. Our manicures and pedicures last a long time! The staff is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and very diverse, and the owner is always welcoming. The salon is very clean, always smells good, and we’ve never waited more than a few minutes. Just all around a great place. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely keep coming back.

I am visiting San Diego and with time on my hands I spotted Twinkle Nail & Spa 2 on University Ave and it was the perfect find! The receptionist was friendly and very accommodating as I was a walk-in client. The atmosphere is bright and comfortable and very welcoming. Linh was my pedicure artist. I say describe her that way because of all the care and attention she paid to my toes! The gel-pedicure was carefully executed and the whole experience soothing, relaxing, and satisfying. I highly recommend the salon and Linh.

I needed a new nail spot and this place is right around the corner so I booked an acrylic fill and a pedicure. Ivy did my pedicure and did a great job. Linh did my nails and oh my goodness she was fantastic! I brought in a picture that was black with gold ombre for New Year's Eve and she literally executed flawlessly. I made my appointment for Friday at 5:30 and I did not wait one minute over and everybody was super duper nice. I think I found my new spot!

I read all the amazing reviews, so I went to the north park location. I chose a 10a appt which is right when they open, hoping to avoid the rush. Was immediately busy, but they handled it really well. My pedicure though was highly disappointing. I paid for their $68 pedi, which comes with a 10 min massage - that was maybe 5 mins, but my real disappointment was with the paint job. I've never had such a bad paint job, even doing it myself at home, and for $68, I absolutely expected perfection, or at least clean. The paint runs over, it's not even, doesn't cover the nail in all spots. I didn't love the color once she started, but didn't want to complain, so the color is on me, but it's just so poorly painted. She rushed off to the next person before I could say anything, but honestly it was so busy and it just felt too overwhelming to ask. The woman who did my nails saw the paint job, and said nothing, just helped me get my sandals on, which was nice. As for my nails, they look beautiful, shape is nice, BUT I asked for the cateye (it's the magnetic polish) based on the samples they have out front that have a circular look to them (hence cat eye) I'd seen the style on someone recently, so was excited to get it done. While they are beautiful, they are NOT cateye, they simply look shimmery. No pattern, nothing. It took everything in me not to cry on my way out. I tipped the nail tech 20% bc the nails still look nice, even if it wasn't what I wanted. I tipped the pedi tech less bc she still did the job, but really it was not worth tipping. So after $143 plus another $25 for tip, I'm so so sad that what I got was just ok. I watched others leave with incredible work done, and it was just so disheartening. Edited to add: the mani also lacked any clean up. Typically in a dip mani, they have you wash your hands after the shaping & activator. There was none of that. She added a little cuticle oil at the end to minimize the look of my cuticles now being a mess from the grinder, but that was it. So I got in my car feeling oily & unable to touch anything and had to just spray hand sanitizer to get rid of some of the oil.

Brian and the entire team are not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely kind and welcoming. I went in for a pedicure. Kim took excellent care of my nails and the massage was delicious! The ambiance is soothing and serene—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. I always leave feeling relaxed and beyond thrilled with the results. So grateful to have this place in the neighborhood!
