Wynn Nails & Spa

I was so excited to try this place since it opened near my home. I’ve been going since they opened and have always been happy with the service and prices. It’s my new regular spot now for nail services.

I walked in to get my nails done yesterday, hoping for some cuticle-pushing magic, and instead, I got... well, I'm still not entirely sure what I got. I asked to have my cuticles pushed back, and when the technician finished, I swear my nails looked like they'd been in a wrestling match and lost. Not only were my cuticles still living their best life, but the whole thing was done so fast, I can only assume he was moonlighting as a pit crew member. My nails came out looking less "manicured" and more "Freddy Krueger's distant, slightly more terrifying cousins." I guess speed isn't always a virtue!

I’ve been here several times because it’s convenient for me, but I just can’t come back anymore. My nails end up looking pretty, but they are always SO RUSHED which leads to low quality work at times. Today, they cut me twice (I know it happens sometimes) but there was no apology at all, and I feel like that’s the least they could have done. In addition, they do NOT follow basic health safety protocols that are in the best interest of everyone. They’ve constantly grabbed items from bins labeled “soiled” (yes, it’s happened multiple times that I’ve been; every time except once actually), and their establishment is not kept to a high cleanliness standard. The floors are always really dirty, and so are the counters. I gave this business multiple chances because of convenience and because I know that mistakes happen, or I thought maybe it was just one or two people grabbing from soiled containers, but it seems to be almost everyone. I love supporting small businesses, so I hate to leave this review, but I had to be honest so others can hear my experience and observations while making their choice of where to get their nails done. Hopefully the owner can read this honest review and implement some new employee trainings/protocols.

The nails are always done very well and quickly! Services are priced well. BUT they always have videos playing on their TV of cooking and preparing meals with raw meat, gutting fish, and today it was of chicken being cracked open, and flattened onto a skewer with bones and all exposed. It has been like that every time I’ve come for the last 3 months, and it really doesn’t fit the vibe of a nail salon. I’d like to relax and see relaxing videos, or even bad soap operas on the TV.

We are excited to see this nail spa opening close to our home. Our experience was great, they are very sanitized and worked on our pedicures very detailed. Will definitely be going back.
