2025-06-14Extremely unprofessional and discriminatory service. I came in with red polish and they refused proper removal, leaving color behind. They mocked me, spoke in another language, and treated me poorly likely because it is assumed “Blacks Don’t Tip Well”. I asked several times for them to properly remove my red nail polish using cotton and foil, which is a basic service at any salon. Instead, they dipped my hands in a bowl of remover, barely cleaned the polish, and when I requested better removal, the tech said I should have done it myself before coming in. That alone was frustrating, but it got worse. Multiple technicians refused to serve me. When someone finally agreed, she was visibly annoyed and every time I asked for help, she and others would complain loudly in their language. It felt like they were talking about me right in front of me while ignoring my needs. It was clear I wasn’t welcome, and I believe it was because I’m Black. They acted like I didn’t deserve quality service and assumed I wouldn’t tip. As a paying customer, I expected basic respect and professionalism not judgment, poor service, and hostility. I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values respectful, inclusive service.
