First time here. Took me in kind of last minute. Great staff, super kind, and welcoming and the lady who did my nails did so good. ❤️

I made an appointment for my friend and I to get manicures. And pedicures, they did are pedicures At the same time, but then did our Manicures one at a time! So I had to sit there the whole time My friend was getting her nails done before They even started mine and they're lumpy , and They're uneven, it's not lined up. And then on top of that, from being there.From 3pm to 7:45pm the bill was 280 dollers!!!!

Was going monthly and service was going well; until I switched nail technicians. The last I went had a nail fill and when I got home the polish was peeling, the next day I called and told them I would like to come back and get them fixed; they actually were all coming off then; do you know they had an attitude because I asked them to do them over? This was the next day and it seems like they wanted me to pay again or something. I told them the polish was defected but they did not agree…the older woman was gracious but the younger one had an attitude. Called back recently to get another technician to do my nails and the person hung up on me. anyway I found a better place right near my house! And it is soo much better!

I am not sure if the person who did my nails has ever done a pedicure before or was a family relative who got stuck filling in for someone. After she finished painting my nails, she said I was done. I asked aren't you going to dry my nails under one a fan or a heater..? She said "Huh? No. Your nails are dry, you can put your shoes back on."- She literally was puzzled about what I meant by drying my nails. I said, "Are you sure? I don't want to screw up the polish by smearing them." She said, "yes they are dry you can put your shoes back on." My shoes were open toe slide wedges. I slipped them back on and of course they paint smeared off two of the nails. I put my feet back on the foot rest to have them repainted and I swear, I don't think she wanted to repaint them after a few beats she reapplied nail polish. I then asked if they had any of those disposable flip flops, and she was like "Oh yeah.. ok and got some." She then put the flip flops on for me and said " be careful not to move you almost smeared the polish." Uh yeah , coz the nails ARENT dry. Also, this is Anchorage and it was a grey, overcast, damp day and my nails needed to be dried. If you look at the photos you can see on the smallest toes, she did not even bother to file the nail straight across. Nail polish is on the skin and messily applied over the actual nails. The salon itself is so cute on the inside, and the staff is super friendly. My first time at the business I was in love with my nails and pedicure (unfortunately however the nail tech who did my set no longer works there). My original quoted price on the website was $75 and it ended up being $50 more dollars than I expected. Despite that though I left a $17 dollar tip because my nails looked so good. However this 2nd time my experience wasn't so great. Again everyone was super friendly the atmosphere was cool, but it's been 2 days and my ring finger is already chipping I haven't even done anything lol. I'm also not a fan of the price discrepancy that keeps happening. I book for one price intending to pay that price and everytime now its $30+ more than I was quoted when booking. This time I was unhappy because the quality of work I received didn't justify an $85 set with removal included. I've never paid more than $10 to have any type of nail removed and I was charged $20 even though it was nowhere on the price board. My nails look like I have skittles glues to them. 😂 The gel polish is so thick. I was told that that was my fault because I booked for acrylic and they had to put gel polish on my nails but the last time I was there they had colored acrylic so I assumed thats what I would get this time. Either way that was my experience and while they are super friendly I won't be going back. I'd recommend asking up front how much you'll be expected to pay so you won't be blindsided by a $30-$50 markup. If the owner does your nails you're golden, but I think the younger girls are still learning and it shows in the quality I received.
