Venus Nails

I have had my nails/pedicures done at Venus nails several times. I went back 1 week ago for a full set and gel pedicure. I was absolutely pleased with my pedicure Kim did a beautiful job, the best so far. HOWEVER my full set was and is a disaster. 4 Nails completely frozen off, cracking along the sides not to mention tenderness beneath my bail bed. I stopped in to speak to the manager who told me I needed to wait until she completed her full set nit only was she nasty she was unbothered/unconcerned. I spend a huge amount of money there. I will never return there nor will I ever recommend this place to a soul.

The tech wanted to pull off my overlay on my thumb, I explained why, she laughed and still tried and I had to tell her no again. The music playing in the establishment was ghetto, if you are going to try to seem upscale, you should play something other than that. Lesson learned, I won’t be back. I have gel that has stuck itself to my skin and small pools of polish at the cuticle, why do you not do a manicure instead of using that tool For everything! I should have looked at your reviews, just awful ! Reply to owner: You didn’t have an issue with this while I was there, and speaking about me like I wasn’t going to be able to understand you, perhaps practice better customer skills and label all your chemicals accordingly, using products with no labels is also a issue, I’ll be contacting the healthy dept about this.

My mom has been going here for a long time, she went today to get her nails done and when she left they looked awful. I called and they said they’d fix them for her, she goes in and they say it’s her fault that they look bad because she had gel before. But that is so not it, the polish isn’t drying, her cuticles are a mess, there’s polish on the pad of her thumb. It’s just a mess. They say they’ll take it off, but they won’t refund her. So disappointed after being clients for so long but I will be advising people to avoid this shop.

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism expressed by the owner and staff (Jessie) was totally unacceptable! My grandmother went in for a pedicure on Friday. She explained to the tech that she is diabetic and has dry skin that will need to be treated around the back of her feet and legs. The tech seemed to understand and accepted the job assuring us that she would handle with care. AS YOU CAN SEE in the photos the tech had NO IDEA what she was doing! She cut my grandmother's toenails so far down that they bled! The tech also cut the skin around my grandmother's toes so much they too were bleeding and was still bleeding once she made it home! My cousins went by to make the manager/owner aware of the situation and was told, "Since you know so much about pedicures, you should have done your grandmother's feet yourself!" (I have this all on a video) The owner refused to acknowledge the damage that was done and said she would not refund or compensate any funds paid for the poor service that was rendered because we had used HER WATER, HER UTILITIES, & HER CHEMICALS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE THAT IS LOOKING FOR QUALITY SERVICES, RESPECT, INTEGRITY, or decent PROFESSIONALISM! It is RIDICULOUS!
