Nails Plus

Had mine and my granddaughters’ nails done Friday. Paid $93 for 3 manicures with gel polish and designe. The polish was all over out cuticles and/or missing in spots. The design s were kindergarten quality. As you can see from the photo my polish is already coming off. The lady who first interacted with us was doing so while chomping on an ear of corn …… yes you read that correctly.

I left my last nail place of over 20 years in Gadsden and begin coming here in Anniston . I love this place my nails always look awesome ! Lee does them and she never fails me . The fall nail look is so beautifully done and she drew the leaf design ! I also get a pedicure too which is so relaxing. I will continue to drive here .

This was my second experience, and both times, I had a positive experience. Pedicure was also amazing. Nail techs first was Mr. Hanson and second most recent time was lady China.. Cat Eyes gel, two thumbs up 👍🏾👍🏾highly recommend. I travel miles to get my nails service done at Nail Plus. Great Job! I can't wait to see you there. The first visit went well, also couple more visits I had went well. I even begun as a Constant customer, but unfortunately this did not last long. On 03/05/2025 The wait time was extremely long even though there was only 3 people getting service. I was greeted, but after that there was no type of interaction with me. No one asked any questions someone came to the front of the salon and did not acknowledge me. This person then proceeded to the back of the salon. I had to ask one of the technicians Was there a long wait because obviously there were only three people at the nail Salon at the time, so by my observation, I assume the wait time would only be 5 maybe 10 minutes at the most. Still after about 15 minutes of waiting no one came to ask the service I was in need of. This is The third time this has happened. I have heard from other customers the behavior they sometimes show towards certain people isn’t the best nor satisfactory which is ridiculous, which is very mind blowing when most of their customers are from the African-American community, So I’m going to rule out discrimination or any type of racist, prejudice behavior. It’s very appalling to me how people spend their financial income with these individuals but yet they have such lack of respect for you as a customer. It’s the customer that keep your business in business. It’s the customer that keeps you afloat. As I stated in the beginning of this review, my first couple visits went well. At the time I had no complaint, but sometimes when people begin to gain success, they lose sight of humanity. In order to stay, successful you must stay consistent with professionalism and respect. I understand this is a small rural area, but I’ve lived in bigger and major cities where the business is extremely busy and the assistance was much better than I received at this nail salon. For instance, I visit a salon in Miami where there were about 15 people waiting and I still was made to feel as if I mattered & a valued customer so that speaks volume. Had I been a guest shopper critiquing this nail salon on customer service this facility would have absolutely failed. Finally after almost an hour wait I received service. This is way I don’t mine traveling to Birmingham or Atlanta to receive great service. I will not return.

First experience at this nail salon decided to give them a try and I will not be back I repeatedly expressed what I wanted to the old guy doing my nails and was ignored. My cuticles are messed up, my fingers were bleeding, and the design is not what I asked for and is not neatly done.
