Rooted Culture Salon

The rooted culture salon, 100/10. I had the hardest time finding hair and makeup artist but a friend suggested rooted culture salon. With being an out of town bride I was incredibly nervous about hair & makeup especially with my trial the day before the wedding but Michelle was very good at reassuring me that if I didn’t like my trail she had more staff that could handle my requests but let me tell you, Jordyn and Claire SHOWED UP!! They made me feel so beautiful for my rehearsal and my wedding day and I’m forever thankful for their help and for taking my critiques with grace.

I love rooted culture! Iv been going to them for years (shout out Halle) so I knew I could trust them with my wedding! All the women in our bridal party used them for hair and makeup! They all loved their looks. Most importantly the stylists jammed out with us all morning making the energy infectious! Very talented but even sweeter women. Fabulous experience!

Michelle, Claire, and the Rooted Culture team are absolutely amazing! They listened to my vision and made it even better—my makeup was flawless all day and my hair stayed perfect without feeling heavy. They were professional, calming, and so fun to have with us on the wedding morning. My bridal party looked stunning too. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Highly recommend!

Services are good, but customer service is not. The Verona location has two spaces and it's never clear where the appointment is taking place. I'm told they text if it is not in the salon, but that hasn't been my experience. Instead I've gone to the salon and been told to go to the other space. Last week I went to the other space for my appointment (assuming it was there since most have been). Everyone completely ignored me (and the others waiting). I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time and 10 minutes into it get a cancellation text. And then another text asking if they could reschedule because I didn't show. When I told them I was already there and had been waiting they finally said I was in the wrong place (again not clear and no one was helping any customers) and they couldn't see me that day any longer.
