Neroli Salon & Spa

I took a lot of time to think about doing a review and if I want to ever go back to Neroli after my most previous experience. I have gotten a blonde balayage from Neroli and for the most part I liked my hair. My most recent visit was absolutely terrible. The first two pictures are from my Brookfield experience. We agreed on my hair being a bit darker but then still blonde but it looked like my hair was dark with some hint of blonde highlights. The person doing my hair told me she was doing a harsher product under so it wouldn’t have to process as long. She also seemed like she was rushing the whole appointment. Well after my appointment my hair underneath literally would come out in small clumps that I was not able to brush out and completely felt knotted. After so many clumps came out I decided to take a picture and call. They set an appointment with Chase at the downtown location. She definitely made it look closer to what I wanted with keeping my hair in tact. She also commented that it somewhat looked like the Brookfield girl gave a reverse balayage. I originally paid for a full balayage and in turn to fix my hair they gave me a half balayage and on top of that I tipped the girl that fixed my hair of course costing me more time and money. I feel completely ripped off and decided I don’t agree with how this company handles things. I will not return and I truly don’t think that they value complaints at all. I can spend my money at a better salon. I would not recommend getting your hair colored through Neroli.

I haven’t been to Neroli’s for some time and decided to make an appointment again . I reserved time for a deep tissue massage with Steven. I’ve had deep tissue massages at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and at the Marriott Marquee in NYC, they were good , but Steven is the best massage therapist I have ever had. He understands the pressure points that need attention . My back and shoulders feel great for weeks after my appointment. He’s great. The whole staff at the Brookfield location is terrific. Would highly recommend.

Neroli is my go-to spa for haircare, eyebrow care, and massage. Steven was my masseuse back when he had just started and he is truly wonderful. He knows just how much pressure to use and where, takes seriously any considerations, and is just so kind and sweet, a real personality like sunshine. Bridget is a whiz with eyebrows and knows how to trim and shape to fit the face. She also is sweet, cheerful, and a lovely personality. If you're having a bad day, the people at Neroli will leave you smiling and in good spirits. Thank you!

Star Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Unfulfilled Service I am an international student new to this country, and I wanted a new hairstyle. Since I’m unfamiliar with local hair terminology, I generated an AI image of the hairstyle I wanted and visited several salons with the reference photo, asking for professional advice on what treatments would help me achieve that look. After being turned away by five salons, one recommended that I visit Neroli Salon, saying they might be able to help. I visited Neroli and showed the reference photo to the receptionist. She suggested I book a consultation with a stylist specializing in hair color. During that appointment, the stylist reviewed the image and said I’d first need a relaxer treatment to straighten my curly hair before moving forward with the cut and color. I agreed, booked the appointment, and asked her to discuss my requirements with the stylist who would be performing the treatment. When I returned for the relaxer treatment, I once again showed the reference photo and confirmed with the new stylist whether she was briefed. She said yes, they had already discussed it. After the treatment, however, my hair went back to its wavy texture almost immediately. When I asked why, I was told it wasn’t a full relaxer treatment as promised—but something much milder, because they were concerned about damaging my hair. This decision was made without my knowledge or consent. I was shocked and frustrated. I asked what could be done to fix it, and she said a different, stronger treatment would be needed—but couldn’t be done that day. I paid the bill anyway but made it clear that I wasn’t satisfied. At checkout, I was told by someone at the front desk—possibly the manager—that they take customer feedback seriously and would reach out. I also had a follow-up appointment booked for hair color once the styling was done, but as i told i am not sure of getting the color done till the issue is resolved later that day I received an email saying it had been canceled—without any explanation or follow-up. It has now been over 24 hours, and I’ve received no call, no refund, and no resolution. I’ve attached two images to this review for reference: 😊 – This is the AI-generated style I showed to every salon I visited, including Neroli, as my desired outcome. 😑 – This is how my hair looks after the treatment I received at Neroli. As you can see, it didn’t even come close to what was discussed. Looking back, I actually appreciate the salons that turned me down. They were honest about not being able to achieve the look I wanted and didn’t give me false hope. That kind of transparency is something I now recognize as true professionalism—something I didn’t experience at Neroli.

Isabella is so kind and a wonderful artist. Her foot massage is so relaxing and her polish application is perfection. I look forward to my appointments with her. I also liked the heated hand towel and lotion I was greeted with upon arrival, it was a nice way to start my appointment.
