Pure Nail Lounge

I love Chao and the ladies at PureNail. Not only am I always beyond satisfied with how my nails turn out, but I love my time spent there. The team is friendly, I always get treated to bottled water, and even was sung to on my birthday! I recently had some health complications and Chao tracked my recovery through some mutual acquaintances and welcomed me back so warmly after I was better. The facility is clean and bright and welcoming and I really do enjoy my time here. I've seen them handle busy times really well, including walk-ins. But scheduling appointments is easy too. My nails last really well (even if I have to drag a fill out a week or longer because...life) and they've got a loyal customer in me! Can't recommend enough. Love this place!

The girl who did my nails was lovely and did a wonderful job. The add on prices were absolutely ridiculous. I asked for dip on my real nails. No tip. And asked for a round shape. I would say anywhere else round is a normal shape that should not be up charged… the dip set was $55 and I was up charged $5 for a round shape… that’s appalling. It’s just $5 but it seems dishonest to charge their customers for a standard shape. An extreme long nail shape that required extra filing would be totally understandable. This is the shortest nail which required minimal filing. It’s just a standard shaping. So with tip this simple set came out to $70… big price gouging honestly. The nail tech was lovely though. I just can’t get past charging me $5 to simply shape my nails… I’m unsure what shape wouldn’t warrant an up charge honestly… my natural shape is round… appalled

Update* 4 out of 5 stars I’m giving 4 stars because the place was clean and the staff were generally friendly, but I won’t be getting my nails done here again. They charge a separate fee just for cuticle trimming, which I’ve never experienced elsewhere—it wasn’t included with the nail set, which felt misleading. I got a fish design with cat eye polish and added for a more 3D look, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately, the direction of the fish was off. When I pointed it out, they had someone else attempt to fix it, but they still didn’t correct the direction, which was supposed to be the opposite. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but the attention to detail and pricing transparency could definitely be improved. Past review 1 out of 5 stars Was informed of the wrong price for my nails, which should have cost roughly 70 dollars and was shot, which was the last number 150. I told them dip instead they did gel. I was really excited about this nail set, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The metallic powder is uneven, with some areas completely missing, especially on the sides, making the design look incomplete. On top of that, the underside of the nails is visibly dirty, which is really unhygienic and unprofessional. For the price, I expected a much cleaner and more polished look. I wouldn’t recommend this service unless major improvements are made in quality and cleanliness.

I came in with disappointing nail art and slightly off shaped, lumpy nails. Chau cleaned them up, re did the art, and now they look PHENOMENAL! She matched the art to part of my halloween costume, and made them look gorgeous! I look forward to coming back for a fill and some new art, next month!

I have been here 4-5 times and somehow each time I don’t get what I asked for. I pick a color and show them photos of what I want, and each time there’s some reason why I can’t get the color I chose and they just disregard the shape preference altogether (each time I end up filing my nails down/ reshaping as soon as I get home). I have never had this problem with a nail salon before and it has happened multiple times. See the photos below, the first is my nails (after I filed them down), the other photos are what I showed them that I wanted. The one time I did go back the next day to get the color changed to what I actually asked for to begin with they charged me again for a color change. So frustrated, not going here again.
