Lake Street Nails

Halo and Julie are amazing! They truly make my day every time I come here. I've been coming for more than a year now, and they never disappoint. The first photos are my nails, still perfect, after three weeks. I send all my friends her to get their nails done, and being my mom and grandmother every three weeks like clockwork.

My red nails 3 weeks after, no chipping or cracking. And my nude jelly nails I just got done. I love the customer service here and that my nails always last for weeks! Great atmosphere. (love the relaxing piano music they play.)💖

The staff were very friendly however the quality of the service was very disappointing. I went in for a dip manicure and did not receive the manicure part of the service, once I realized she was not going to address my cuticles before starting the dip I asked her about it, she stated that they do that after but since I asked she would do it now. She did not soak my nails and made several of my fingers bleed. She spent one hour and 40 minutes working on my nails, about an hour and a half in I asked if it would much longer because I had a doctors appointment to get to, she said it would about 10 more minutes and then was visibly rushing through to get them done. The end result was very unnatural and uneven. Fast forward 10 days later and the dip is already lifting off of my nails and I still have scab on one of my cuticles.

Halo did a wonderful job on my wedding nails. I did a full set with a gel color and it lasted for over 5 weeks! She was very kind! I am very happy with the service and will definitely go back!

Super kind staff, they’re so sweet and willing to be accommodating. However, I have never had such deep wounds from a manicure. On most of my nails I left with bleeding and the photos don’t quite capture how deep and far from the cuticle these deeply embedded skin tears are. Unfortunately, the kindness is wonderful but the experience leaves me applying Neosporin to every nail to hopefully avoid infection at the site of all of these damaged cuticles.
