Absolute transformation!! After years of neglect and self coloring I thought it would take several appointments to fix the damage. In our first consultation, Harman increased my confidence with his master coloring and gave me life boosting advice in health, self discipline and self love. I highly recommend coming here!!! Just look at the photos…this is after my very first appointment. I look forward to a long “hair relationship” with this salon.

Harman is an absolute master at color, cut, and styling (the scalp massage was also fabulous!) I was apprehensive about trying a new stylist after years with the same person. Harman put my worries to rest quickly with his knowledge. I only planned to get a root touch up and trim but he started discussing all the factors influencing my hair texture and highlights. He provided a solution to correct my color so it was more complimentary of my complexion. In less than 90 minutes my hair was completely renewed with shine, bounce, and vibrant color. I would give 10 stars if I could! I highly recommend Harman!

I had an amazing experience at Salon Alure in Purcellville! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and professional. Harman was absolutely wonderful—so friendly, attentive, and incredibly skilled. He really took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions along the way. He gave me gorgeous, face-framing layers that completely transformed my look. I left the salon feeling like a brand new woman—so confident and refreshed. It felt incredible to have all that weight off my shoulders (literally!) and to run my fingers through silky, soft hair again. I can’t recommend Salon Alure—and Harman—enough. If you’re looking for expert care and a true hair glow-up, this is the place to go.

I would not recommend this salon. I came in to the salon wanting my color to be a brighter blonde. I communicated what I wanted very clearly to Harmen, the owner, even using reference photos of what I wanted. He somehow made my hair a darker brown than when I came in. No bright face framing highlights like I had asked for and just streaky highlights which looked nothing like the inspiration photos I showed. Additionally, due to lack of proper protection around my clothing, the sweatshirt that I was wearing got completely bleached and ruined by their products. I know that they must have seen this on the back of my shirt when they were drying my hair but said nothing and left me to discover this when I got home! I find this very unprofessional and disrespectful. I held off on writing this review because I thought Harman was a kind person, but now that the salon is giving me issues with getting a refund, I am beyond upset and would like to warn others of going here and encountering the same lack of care. I came to this salon wanting to do something nice for myself and I walked away with bad highlights, one of my favorite sweatshirts ruined (without any apology!) and a way overpriced service.
