Customer service was great. Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The salon was nice and clean. I am very grateful that I was able to get a same day appointment for a very specific hairstyle. I wanted straight back cornrows with added extensions. She did warn me that she would do a test braid first before continuing to see if I would like it. I appreciated that as I know not a lot of people know how to do African-American hair. Overall she did a great job for something she might not have been used to. One thing I noticed when I got home is that a couple of the braids did start to unravel probably due to being cut just a little too short but the rest of the braids are fine. I was also a bit taken aback by the price which was $180. I am not sure if that’s the standard as I am new to the area but that is a steep price for what is usually a style that doesn’t last very long and is fairly simple. I should have done my research for sure but I know for next time.

5+++ Rud did an excellent job with my 4C hair! She was nice, pleasant and fast. I was in and out within 2 hours. I will absolutely rebook and tell all of my curly hair friends to book her!

I randomly booked an appointment at this salon and honestly didn’t expect much—I just wanted a simple wash and flat iron after taking my braids out. To my surprise, the experience was amazing! The salon is super clean with a nice open setup, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by three different people (loved that energy!). My appointment was at 1:00 with Ms. Rud, and I was in the chair by 12:56—no waiting around. 🙌🏾 I did ask if she had experience with African American hair, and she smiled and said, “My hair is coarse like yours, and yes, I have.” That instantly made me feel comfortable. From there, she gave me the BEST wash and scalp massage, then blow-dried my hair in sections with a roller brush. She used a little oil and flat ironed each section perfectly, giving me just a slight bend like I asked. Simple, polished, and exactly what I wanted. Overall, I was so impressed with the service, professionalism, and how welcoming the vibe was. My hair is little past my shoulders and I paid $80. I definitely recommend this spot and will 100% be back! 💕✨
