La Nails

Tina has AMAZING talent! Wow! I normally get basic gel color cause my nails are very thin and short. She recommend that I get powder tips. She has a HUGE collection of colors to pick from, including really cool glitters. My nails turned out beautiful! Her price was a little bit higher than what I am use to paying but her quality was well worth every penny! She was very efficient and I was done in under 30 minutes. Very happy to have found a local place to go to that has quality products and service.

Hannah did an excellent job with everything down to the simple customer service experience. She didn’t force me to converse with her like most places, which I really appreciate. I like more to relax in a nail salon, not force small talk. My nails have lasted almost 3 weeks with no fill, which is extremely impressive. The salon itself is extremely clean and nice on the inside! The shape of the nails is exactly what I asked for and done beautifully, including a nice and sharp point in the stiletto shape (something you usually have to be pushy about or do yourself once you leave, but she did it without me asking once). When I went outside and saw the color was lighter than I had wanted, she had no problem fixing it for me. The only two things I didn’t like were 1) She clipped the wick, which most people would call the cuticle at the edge of your nail bed. The cuticle is what’s actually growing on the nail and is usually filed off in the first few steps of prepping the nail for the acrylic powder. The wick, on the other hand, is the visible live skin, and it’s an illegal practice in most states to cut that part because it can cause bleeding, which it did. Not a big deal, though, because everything else really makes up for that and it didn’t hurt. 2) I wish their standard for the amount of product used was thicker, to the actual nail tech standard of thickness which shows a slight convex effect when looking at the nail from a profile angle. It uses more product, but that is a standard in cosmetology school because it improves the overall strength of the nail shape. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my experience at this salon, especially compared to other places in Lynchburg thus far. You can see in my photos how well they grow out, maintaining the shape, which shows more about how good her technique is!(:

ABSOLUTELY LOVE TINA!!! She and her family have always gone above and beyond for their clients! Have gone here almost 2 years and always leave satisfied ❤️ have never had a bad experience or a bad mani here at LA Nails. If I could I’d give her 10 stars! ⭐️

Tina is amazing. She did a wonderful job on my nails. The atmosphere is that they know their customers! It was clean, friendly feeling. What I liked most is that my nails were not over buffed, my cuticles stayed intact, and she took great care with my nails that were extra weak! Try the dip!! Its amazing!!
