Champlain Nails

I’ve been going to Champlain Nails for over a year now and I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve been. They always do amazing sets, even doing amazing designs when asked. The staff is the kindest ladies you will meet, always greeting people by name and making conversation with everyone. They also have an online booking system which makes it an easy no worry experience. A must go!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This place is fantastic. The service is great, and I always get tons of compliments on my nails. If you’re thinking about coming here please do, I can’t recommend it enough!!

The good: I came in for an appt and the ladies were very nice. The color that I wanted they did not have but the woman working on me was very helpful in finding an alternative color. The bad: 3 of my nails have already broken in just 6 days since getting my nails done. Another 4th nail is also breaking. The service also seemed very rushed, with a lot of my tips being uneven, or just not well done. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend dur to the quality of the finished project, despite how sweet the staff is.

Even though I heavily rely on reviews before selecting a service, I barely ever share reviews. This time I felt I needed to. My advice .. If you are new trying to find "your" place, make sure you request the person who always gets positive feedback. Words can not describe what I just paid for ... this will most definitely not be my new place. Comments in response to below from salon: 1. I told her my nail has been like this for over 10 years- it is detached on one side in the upper right- it is not cracked. In the last 10+ years no other salon in NY or CA where I lived before, would even attempt to do what your girl did and I get pedicures regularly when it is toes out season. I did not have fungus so this is such an incredibly awful thing to say. The reason I needed a pedicure in the cold of winter, which I explained, is I going to a company holiday party out of state. I now cannot wear open toe shoes. I did plan to get a manicure too but canceled as I was holding back tears. I am not a drama person. I still left a tip … I just won’t be back.

Loved this nail salon. Great location with easy parking (just remember to pay the meter), clean space, tons of polish options, great prices. They accept cards and request cash tips so try to have cash on you for that.
