Texas Nail House (10% OFF for Military)

I just moved to Texas 3 months ago and I was recommended to try this place. The first time I was serviced here it was good but this second time my experience was not the best. I paid $103 dollars in total for my nails and the “design” itself I got was $40 dollars only for it to be sloppyily done. None of the lines connect nor are they neat. And the foundation of my nails are super thick and not flattering at all. I did get gel-x but because of how thick it looks like acrylic. I would also suggest maybe making sure your techs are well versed on French tip bases for different skin tones because there’s not a singular color that is flattering for everyone. I tried expressing that I didn’t like any of the base colors and she said said it wouldn’t be perfect. And I tried explaining that I’ve gotten my nails done here before with a more flattering shade but she insisted it was because I got acrylic nails although I only get gel-x so that is not possible. I ended up settling for this color and the design because I had somewhere to be. The staff are nice though even with my dissatisfaction of nails.

Henry was AMAZING!!! I suffer from chronic pain in my legs, and when I tell you, the Cucumber Pedicure he gave me, was everything I never knew I needed. He took his time and catered to me as if I were his ONLY customer … I’ll be back to see Henry next month!!

3 stars and not 1 because I always come here for pedicures and they do an awesome job! I'm in the military so I don't often get manicures done but I have a wedding to go to this weekend. We have strict nail regulations so I asked for a rounded, French manicure.... This is what I got instead and paid $95! She didn't even do my cuticles... that would have been an add on. It's so dark in there, which I love for the pedicures, so I didn't even notice how bad they looked until I left. I'm 8 months pregnant with a toddler and did not have time to go back in for another hour to get them fixed. I feel bamboozled honestly. I will continue to get pedicures here but never ever getting my nails done here again.

I'm giving two stars solely because the customer service I received from the front desk team was excellent. They were kind, saw the issue immediately, and handled it with professionalism. Unfortunately, the actual nail service was a huge letdown. I asked for a simple French tip, and the result was shocking. The application was sloppy and unprofessional. The white lines are thick, not crisp, and look very shaky. Some are thicker than others, and none of them have a clean, elegant curve. I tried to address this during the appointment. I politely showed the technician the uneven lines and asked if she could clean them up. I've never had a French tip manicure look like this before. The front desk did offer a complimentary fix on a future visit, but I declined. It felt awkward to return to the same place, and I didn't trust that the result would be different a second time around. While I appreciate their attempt to make it right, I can't recommend this salon for nail art or French tips based on my experience.

We were warmly greeted and seen quickly even as walk-ins. The salon was busy even at opening, but everyone was kind and the cleanliness was excellent. I recieved an excellent pedicure for a very reasonable price! Henry was very thorough - I would definitely go to him again!
