Onyx Nail Bar Brazos

This is my second time going to Kennedy and I’m in love!! She is the sweetest person. I am very particular about my nails especially my designs. I show her a picture and she gets the look exactly like the picture. Definitely found me a new nail tech!

I won't go anywhere else but Onyx Nail Bar. Ever! They do the best work in the nail game! And I've waited to post this until I've been there a few times. This is my 3rd trip and every single time I've not only been please, I've been IMPRESSED!! First few times I thought maybe it was just a fluke or luck of the draw. But now... I'm convinced this is THE ONLY nail place that's worthy of my praise. They are quick, but they don't rush. They are kind and caring and make sure you get exactly what you ask for. And definitely ask for Chris if you're getting a set of nails. Her work is impeccable! I took a pic in (off Google) that I wasn't even sure if they would be able to get close to what I wanted. She did EXACTLY what I wanted.

I was blown away by this place!! Me and my mom got the straight up manicure and the ladies did such a good job! It was a great price and so relaxing. The ambiance is really soothing and everyone who works there is really nice! I was impressed that they offer beverages complimentary with getting your nails done. I definitely recommend!!

I went in earlier today around 1pm and got a beautiful polka dot set from Anna! Her work was great and my nails came out really cute. I got cut again during the service but no where near as bad as the last time I came. Now, my only deal was with customer service up front. I don’t know any of the receptionists names so I couldn’t tell you but the service up front wasn’t giving a luxury nail bar. I came in, and wasn’t offered a drink. At the end, she was on the phone with another prospective client trying to book their appointment. She flashed me my receipt really quick and all I could see was the $60 for the price but not the break down or if the happy hour discount was applied or not. I was just genuinely intrigued because last time I expressed concern over how the French tips were different priced here. I don’t know if I was getting some weird customer service from the receptionist because I left criticism and feedback about my last service. She didn’t offer my receipt or nothing at the end, so legitimately I don’t know what I spent on what. About six-seven months ago, I came and got a refill on an almond set (that was also done here) and when I went back to remove them I had greenies on each of my pointer fingers and it wasn’t addressed. What I’m saying, is this isn’t my first time receiving iffy service and quality work from a boujier nail bar that charges more.

I got my set done by Kayla. She was very sweet and did a great job. Love coming to the nail bar. ❣️❣️
