Nails Of America - First Colony Sugarland

I got my nails done here on 11/21. Kym was my nail tech and did so well with my nails. They took their time with each nail design. The nails took about 2.5 hours which was worth the time because they came out amazing. Kym made sure I was happy each time she finished the design on each nail before curing it under the lamp. The total came out to $140 which is pricy but considering the area and the kind of service I got, it was well worth it. I’ll for sure come back for my Christmas nails and ask for Kym.

I absolutely love the Nails of America chain in Houston. They always do such a good job and they have amazing quality! I found this location by total accident in Sugar Land and was able to walk in. I showed a reference picture and they replicated it to a T! I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely loved my experience here. From me fumbling the call for doing my nails and them being really sweet about it and fitting me in anyways (im not the greatest at saying what I need done lol), to how my nails were done, treated and turned out, to the drinks and everything. It was all lovely. As a mom of a 6 month old it was just what I needed and super relaxing. Its even fun to look around and read all the things on their walls. Already made an appointment so ill most definitely be back.

I made an appointment here for 2 people because we had had a problem with our old salon not starting on us at the same time and keeping us for 2+ hours. When we arrived they were very punctual on starting on us and were welcoming in the beginning as well. However throughout the appointment, both me and the person I went with had problems with the work/quality of our nails. Also, the lady working on mine nicked me more than once and was very rough when doing my nails. Additionally, she asked me if I wanted my nails cut down and I said yes as I don’t like seeing my natural nails under my acrylics but she didn’t do that and for her to make sure my natural nails don’t separate from my acrylics. Later that day, not even a few hours, I noticed that they were already separating, I will attach a photo to show what I mean. Lastly they were very obvious in whispering about me and my friend who I went with when she went to wash her hands and complaining/giggling in front of me. We were super disappointed as we saw they had good reviews but we certainly didn’t see that after our appointment.

went here for my first to get my nails done and they turned out good. i came home and noticed that the color they gave me was glowing in the dark, and they were really bright in a dark room. this really bothered me because the nail tech didn’t tell me before hand, so i called in to see if they were aware of this and if they could help me even if it means simply covering it up with polish. they said they knew there were certain colors that were glow in the dark but they wouldn’t know until a customer tells them because none of it is labeled, and told me if i want to fix it they will charge me for a refill (they said my nails didn’t fit within their 7 day policy so they “offered” me a small 15% discount but it wouldn’t matter anyway since they have the exact same discount for morning specials so it wasn’t like I was getting any compensation). in the end of the call, they still didn’t ask me what color i got or any information to look up to make sure they know which specific color glows in the dark. not only did they not try to figure out how they can help but who’s to say this won’t happen again to other customers? super weird and weren’t being very helpful, felt like they wanted to charge me and treated it like i should’ve just not picked that color when it was really a mistake on their end for not being aware of their own materials… i don’t usually write reviews but this just left a bad taste for me because of the way they handled the situation, honestly just left me feeling like they don’t care
