Peoni Nails and Spa

The store is well decorated and very clean. The lady who worked there was very kind and I appreciated that she spoke to me a little. I don't like the talk too much getting my nails done. She did an okay job painting my nails. The crazy part was how empty the store was. I wondered how such a cute and local store could be so empty...I know why now. My issue was the man who actually did my nails. I wanted my old acrylic nails removed and my natural nail painted over. I thought it would be a cheap, no problem, in and out process. He was very crabby, would leave or do things without explaining what he was doing, where he was going, or when he would come back. I don't want to mother him, but I'm paying to get my nails done and I can't touch anything. What is happening? He made me feel like I came into his house after a long day at work uninvited. Later on, when another patron came in, she was confused about what she wanted and he was very impatient and rude to her. He even stopped doing my nails, without explaining that he needed to go tend to the new customer, to argue with her. She sped away pretty soon after entering. I felt forced to give a tip because if I didn't, I was concerned he'd get mad again. I never felt so uncomfortable getting my nails done in my life. I was very unhappy with the experience and won't be going again. To improve, I recommend they get a few more techs and better customer service training. I don't think the customer is always right, but you don't have business without customers.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place is literal garbage. I really truly have no idea who’s been giving them these good reviews, but just look at the photos of my nails. It was absolute garbage. There’s a younger, bit thicker girl there with glasses, don’t know her name but do not let her touch your nails. I got dip and she didn’t even know that she was supposed to add a final layer for dip nails. So that they dry! She was awful awful. As you can see, these photos were as I was still in the seat and in the parking lot, you can see I still have the pedi shoes on! So this was literally THAT DAY! And they look absolutely awful! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Absolutely, hands down best place to get your nails done. This is my second visit, the first time I had Jane. She is wonderful and did amazing work, was supper pleasant to talk to. She was going to be out of town for my next appointment so I was set up with Ethan. Again, such a sweet and pleasant man. He as well did amazing on my nails. Very clean and welcoming environment. Both Jane and Ethan exceeded my expectations.

I’m shocked this nail spa has 4.7 stars review. I went to Peoni Nails and Spa based on the great Google reviews and I left disappointed in the services they provided. It seems like a 6 year old painted my nails... I told the manager that my nails were not evenly shaped and looked bumpy, however, she insisted it was the glitter nail polish. Please look at the pictures of the gel polish I got done.

I recently relocated to Mansfield and had to find a new nail salon. I did a walk in at Peoni a few weeks back because I had a spare moment and it was close to my house and had good reviews and I had a great experience. I went back today and had another great experience. The salon is clean, it’s bright and airy feeling, and the people are nice! Both times I got dip. My first set I added length and they lasted three weeks.
