Moncheri is truly a gem! I’ve seen Jenny in the past and most recently saw Anne — both are equally amazing. They’re incredibly detail-oriented, take their time, and their pricing is very fair. You can really tell they care about their customers. They’re patient, helpful, and even assist with choosing the perfect color to match the Pinterest inspo you walk in with! I’m so happy to have found my new nail spot. 10/10 recommend! 💅✨

Perfection! The absolute best gel manicure in Austin. I came in for a manicure in between back to back appointments and was in a rush to get my nails redone before a model shoot this weekend. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and worked efficiently to get me out right on time — without compromising on quality. The attention to detail and the finished result were flawless. Truly the best gel manicure I’ve ever had in Austin. I’ve been searching for a place like this for so long, and now that I’ve found Moncheri, I won’t be going anywhere else. I’ll 100% be referring all of my clients here after such an amazing experience!

I had a 10:15am appointment with David and this experience was extremely unprofessional from start to finish. The salon is supposed to open at 10:00am. I arrived at 10:15am, on time for my appointment, and the doors were still locked. It was pouring rain and very cold, and another client and I were forced to wait outside shivering for at least 10 more minutes before anyone arrived to open the salon—nearly 10:30am by the time we got inside. When I asked about David, I was told he would be there “any minute.” He eventually arrived clearly irritated and immediately blamed traffic, speaking rudely rather than apologizing professionally for being late to his own scheduled appointment. Once seated, he began filing one nail and aggressively questioned why I hadn’t picked a color yet. I calmly explained that no one was inside the salon to assist us because the doors were locked well past opening time. Instead of listening, he spoke over me, became increasingly hostile, and repeatedly asked if I even wanted my nails done. When I tried to explain the color I wanted, he cut me off and continued talking over me. At one point I had to ask him to stop speaking so I could finish a sentence. His response was to escalate further, then abruptly refuse service and physically open the door to kick me out of the salon. This was not a misunderstanding—it was a complete lack of professionalism, emotional regulation, and basic customer service. On top of that, he made an unnecessary and snide comment about where I live (downtown vs “up north”), which is completely inappropriate and has no place in a client interaction. Being late is one thing. Locking customers outside in the cold, arriving angry, speaking down to clients, and then ejecting them mid-appointment is another. I will not be returning and would strongly caution others.
