The Seven Nail Spa

I normally don’t leave reviews …. But this time I was disappointed ! The guy who did my nails was very nice ! not sure if he was in a hurry but he shape my nails as if he had to be somewhere… I asked for square … they are square but crooked …keep in mind they are my real nails … my hands have nail polish all over and he didn’t even make sure to see if the nails were the same size … I’ve came here once before and Julia was amazing ..sadly, I didn’t get her this time

The salon itself is beautiful, very clean, and the staff were friendly and skilled. What left me frustrated, however, was the unexpected charges for both nail shape and length on acrylics. This wasn’t mentioned ahead of time, and I was caught off guard at checkout. For reference, if you don’t choose round or square shape, you’ll be charged an additional $5, and longer lengths add another $5-15. It may not seem like much, but it’s the principle of transparency that matters to me. They advertise $40 starting acrylics and $15 for gel, so I feel it would be much clearer if these additional charges were explained upfront.

I think this is the best salon in Hixson. I have seen multiple techs, but my favorite are Nia and Peter. They do a great job with builder gel and I love the energy and staff!

The atmosphere of this place is beautiful, and the staff is friendly; however, I was disappointed with my last Gel X appointment. While my Gel X nails initially looked stunning, I encountered issues shortly after. Less than 24 hours later, one nail popped off, and another came off while I was sleeping. By the end of three days, I had four nails missing. To clarify, I wasn't being rough with them or breaking them. I felt let down, especially considering the amount I paid and that I had gotten my nails done for an event. Since the salon is about an hour away, I called to express my concerns and sent them pictures. The manager Emily offered me a discount for the four nails or 50% off my next visit, which I found quite surprising, because i should have been reimbursed for lack of techniques and skills . I went to another salon for a new set of nails, and they informed me that the issue was due to improper placement. They indicated that all my nails were likely to pop off because air bubbles had formed during the application. Essentially, I paid for nails that lasted only a few hours, faced embarrassment with my appearance, and had to pay again to have them redone just four days later. This experience was completely unacceptable, and I decided to take my business elsewhere after the manager, Emily, offered a four nail discount😂

Co did an amazing job with the Jurassic dinosaur nails. He took time to look at the image of the design and delivered. I am so excited to wear my Jurassic Park costume for Halloween with my matching nails! 10/10 recommend Seven Nail Spa.
