2025-12-16My acrylics fell off within a week. I am not rough with my nails ever, I am very careful as I always get long nails. Poorly executed overcharged service. When I asked how much before starting and explaining exactly what I wanted I was quoted 60$ then when I checked out it was 95$…. I would be fine paying that much for good nails but they are honestly really messy and poorly done. Not to mention she cut my fingers and continued to file the cuts till they were raw. I wouldn’t recommend, overpriced poorly done. My fingers hurt

2025-12-05I rarely leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I’ve had mixed experiences at Sugarcoat. I’ve visited three times because it’s close to my apartment. My first visit was neutral, my second was great; Lynn did my nails for my engagement and was nice! I liked my nails as well! However, my most recent visit (12/5 at 3:30) was disappointing. Even with an appointment, I waited 15 minutes and another customer who arrived after me was called first. The tech I ended up with (I believe Thu) seemed irritated, was very rough, and over-filed my nails to the point of bleeding. The fill-in looks patchy and uneven, which I didn’t notice until I got home because I was so ready to leave. Customer service was poor, my nails hurt, and the quality wasn’t worth it. I’m giving 2 stars only because my previous experience with Lynn was positive; otherwise this would be a 1-star review.

2025-10-15Super disappointed with my builder gel manicure. The technician was rushed and very rough, I have several fingers that were filed raw, and my cuticles were cut so short that several fingers were bleeding. The tech then proceeded to tell me it was because my nails were too short. (I’ve had this exact manicure done several times, with this length). I also have polish all over the edges of my nails on my skin.. Really bummed since I had such a stellar first experience with the pedicure I received.
